Chapter 16

You woke up as early as possible.

You decided to ignore the boys for the following days starting today. You needed to ignore them to prevent yourself from falling harder each day for them. You didn't want to be against them, instead, you wanted to support them. Just like a good friend would do.

You arrived at the bus stop earlier than you expected. Finally, a bus stopped in front of you. You rode it.

"Where is she?" Sanha mumbled as he bit his lips. The others were also looking at the window of the bus, hoping to see you.

"We're going now, please stay in your place." The bus driver said. The boys sighed.

"Jiyeon!" Sanha and Myungjun yelled happily across the hallway. You didn't know why you were nervous and kept your head down as you closed your locker. You just kept your head down while walking.

"Ouch!" You yelped when your head came in contact with a hard object, at least that's what you thought. You caressed your head and slowly looked up. You gasped.

"Are you ok?" Myungjun asked worriedly. You nodded. You just bumped on Sanha's chest. Your cheeks were red.

"I'm sorry." The taller male said and suddenly cupped your cheeks which made your heart skip a beat. He slowly leaned into your face. You closed your eyes as your breath hitched. And you felt his soft lips on your head, the area where it actually hurt.

"There, is it better now?" Sanha asked. You actually felt better. You stared at the both of them. You couldn't help because they were smiling perfectly at you. If you could just stare at them forever, you'd probably do it.

"Hello? Earth to Jiyeon?" Myungjun waved his hand at you. You felt yourself turning redder than before. You blinked multiple times like an idiot.

"H-Huh?" You asked, making the two boys in front of you chuckle.

"You look cute when you're flustered." Sanha giggled with Myungjun. Thanks to them, you were so embarrassed and red.

"Hic. Hic." You hiccuped. Your eyes widened, you covered your mouth.

Why the heck are you embarrassing yourself Jiyeon?!

This wasn't how you planned your day.

"C-can you-- hic! Just--hic! Leave me alo--hic! Alone?" You shut your eyes tightly and ran from the scene. The boys were confused at your actions and called your name, multiple times.

You just ran without even knowing where you were going. You just had to ignore them. They weren't feeling the same way with you so why not distance yourself first until you got over with your stupid feelings.

You stopped.

Finally, you were able to calm down but your hiccups seemed to be not stopping. You held your chest for a while. And then you suddenly remembered what happened earlier.

"You look cute when you're flustered."

You were confused as to why would they compliment you like that?

Are they flirting with me?

You shook your head at the thought. You hit your head multiple times.

You're fat Jiyeon, you're ugly and you're a nerd. No one will like you, especially those boys. And---

"Are you ok Jiyeon?" You shot your head up to look at the owner of the voice.
