Chapter 5

You did your normal morning routine.

"I'm off!" You yelled and received a faint 'alright' from your mother.

You ran to catch the bus, you knew that the bus will be fully occupied soon if you won't hurry.

You entered the bus hearing some of the people there complaining that the bus is already full. The bus driver shrugged.

You managed to get through the 'crowd'.

But as you reached your 'goal' which was to go near the back but not at the back-back, the speed of the bus suddenly increased making you stumble to the person in front of you.

You clutched at the person and the said person held you tight.

When the bus returned to its normal pace, you bowed to the person to say 'thank you'.

The person only chuckled, his voice was very familiar you instantly looked at the person. And you were right, it was Myungjun.

You instantly blushed due to embarrassment, thinking that he might have a hard time holding you because of your, well, size and weight.

Your gaze turned to the others at the back, still near Myungjun. You received multiple 'hi' s and 'hello' s.

"Sorry about that, I know I'm heavy." You told him.

"Don't worry about it." He only laughed. You were having trouble standing up straight because of the sudden change in the speed of the bus.

You searched for anything to hold to be able to support your posture but all of it was occupied. You awkwardly stood next to Myungjun, hoping that the bus won't increase its speed.

But luck seems to be not with you today, the bus accelerated again. You held tightly at Myungjun who held you too.

"I'm really sorry." You bowed again at him.

"Don't worry, I'm sure hyung loved it," Sanha mumbled, receiving a smack from Myungjun.

"Don't mind him." He laughed awkwardly. Then silence took over.

You, again, awkwardly stood there while trying your best to stand up straight.

"Just hold my arm if you want..." Myungjun said, not looking at you to hide his crimson face.

You were shy but did it anyway.

The ride was full of awkward coughs from you and Myungjun.

A few minutes later, the bus already reached your destination. The boys and you walked together.

"Don't you have any friends to introduce to us?" Myungjun asked out of nowhere.

"I don't have friends." You plainly said, making both Sanha and Myungjun gasped.

"Why? How come?" Sanha asked.

"Cause I'm not sociable," You said as you kicked a stone.

"And plus, I'm a nerd, who would want a nerd to be their friend right?" You just told them what most of the students in the school told you.

"That's nonsense..." Dongmin mumbled but you still heard it.

"Huh? What makes no sense there?" You asked him.

"You're fun to be with you know..." He said while blushing, you didn't notice it.

"Dongmin hyung is right, you're really fun to be with, and isn't it fun to have a smart friend?" Bin said.
