Chapter 38

"Bye!" You yelled and then closed the door.

You were surprised to see not only the boys but also Ahra, Yoongi, and Jennie. It was too early but they were all there.

"Surprise," Ahra said, smiling widely.

"Wow, it's too early. Why are you guys here?" You asked.

"We wanted to have breakfast together," Jennie said.

"How come I didn't know about that?" You asked. They only smiled sheepishly at you.

"Alright," You sighed. You agreed since you only ate an apple because you argued with your mother again.

You started to walk ahead. You realized that they weren't following. You looked back at them and raised a brow.

"Let's go," You said.

All of you arrived at the school a bit early. You all were walking toward the classroom when someone dragged you in the opposite direction.

"Yoongi?" You mumbled as you watch him drag you to the school's garden. Soon, both of you sat down panting heavily.

"What are we--"

He cut you off by putting his index finger on your lips. You nodded suspiciously.

~Meanwhile~

"Huh? Yoongi and Jiyeon are missing." Ahra said. Jennie and the boys turned their heads behind them and indeed, there were no signs of you or Yoongi.

"I think I know where they are," Jennie said as she smiled.

"At the school's garden." She said. They all went to the garden and hid behind some bushes. And that's when they heard you and Yoongi talking.

"Yoongi, we need to go back now." You said. They peeked to see what was happening. You stood up and were ready to leave but Yoongi grabbed your wrist.

"Wait Jiyeon, I have something to tell you," Yoongi said. You nodded and sat back.

"How important is it?" You asked curiously

"Very important," He said.

"Is it about our project? Which one? We can talk about it with the others--"

"I like you, Jiyeon." He said, making you stop for a second.

Jennie and Ahra almost squealed when they heard Yoongi. Myungjun and his brothers were frowning.

"W-What?" You asked flustered.

"I mean...I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend." Yoongi said.

"M-Me?" You asked.

"Yeah, who else." He chuckled. You didn't answer for a while.

"I know it's too sudden but I really just want to let you know as early as possible." He said looking at you.

"I..."

"I-I'm sorry Yoongi. I'm not rejecting you yet but I just want you to wait. I don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship." You said but honestly, you couldn't understand what you were feeling. You didn't know if you like him or not, he's a good and caring man. But you couldn't understand why it felt wrong to you.

"It's ok, I'll wait for you." He said smiling at you widely. You pinched his cheeks because why not.

"Gosh, you made me nervous." You said as you fanned yourself. You were blushing.
