Chapter 19

A soft knock on the door interrupted you and your parents.

The door opened revealing your principal with your friends and Ahra.

Your face lit up when you saw her, your hopes of getting your best friend back boosted.

"Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kang, may I talk to you outside?" The principal said. Your parents nodded and headed outside.

"How are you, Jiyeon?" Jennie approached you.

"I'm fine now, no need for all of you to be worried." You said. You noticed Sanha's eyes were puffy and red.

"Hey, what happened to you." You asked softly at him. You stood up.

"Jiyeon, don't stand," Jennie said but you ignored her. You approached Sanha and he suddenly just cried and hugged you.

"He had been crying for hours, he thought that you'll actually die. He exactly knows what was happening to you since he's allergic to seafoods." Dongmin said.

"Aigoo, don't cry because if you cry, I'll cry." You said to Sanha.

"Why won't I--*sniff*--cry if you--*sniff*--almost died!" He yelled hugging you tighter. You broke the hug and smiled at him. Your heart broke when you saw his tears.

"Don't you see? I'm strong now, look!" You said as you raised your arm and flexed it.

"Yeah right," He said as he wiped his tears.

"Come on show me a smile." You said as you pouted. He immediately wiped his tears and smiled.

"Wah, you look so cute when you smile." You said. You made him giggle this time. You looked at the others.

"Why are you all looking like that? Smile!" You said.

"Where's my happy virus?" You asked as you approached Myungjun and hugged him.

"I'm so worried." He mumbled.

"Don't worry anymore." You said as you broke the hug and turned to Bin. You hugged Bin.

"I'm glad you're ok." He said. You broke the hug as you smiled at him.

"Don't scare us like that again," Jinwoo said as you hugged him. You nodded.

You turned to Minhyuk. You smiled as you hugged him.

"I missed you." He said with a smile. You smiled back at him. And finally Dongmin.

"Aish, you made everyone worried." He said as you hugged him.

"Sorry." You said.

"Where's Yoongi?" You asked and just in time, the door opened revealing puffy and red-eyed Yoongi.

"Please don't tell me that you cried too." You said as you approached him.

"Pabo, why wouldn't I. You almost died." He said as he hugged you.

"You know what's funny? Everyone said the same thing." You said as you chuckled a bit and broke the hug.

"Ha.Ha.Ha.Ha. that isn't funny at all," Ahra said at the corner of the room. Everyone looked at her. You looked at her sadly.

Isn't she worried?

"Raerae..." You said. That was the nickname you gave her when you were kids.

"Oh please, don't call me that. Plus, you should've just died." Her statement made everyone snapped.

"You little---" Jennie attacked her and pulled her hair.

"You fucking tell her that again, I'll fucking torture you and it won't be pretty. You hear that?!" Jennie said.

"Jennie stop!" You said. Yoongi immediately grabbed her.

"Aren't you worried?" You asked with hope, she only scoffed.

"No, not even a bit." She said.

"Then why are you here?" You asked sadly.

"Are you really that clueless? I'm the culprit. I put the peanut butter in your sandwich." She said as she laughed. Your heart broke. You approached her, tears were threatening to fall.

"What? Are you going to cry? Grow up, will you!" She said as she rolled her eyes.

"No Jiyeon, don't come close to her," Jinwoo said as he grabbed your wrist.

"Let me go, now." You said. He instantly let you go.

You obviously scared Jinwoo.

"What are you going to do now? Punch me? What?" Ahra said. That was the last straw. You slapped her. Everyone was shocked by your actions.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to I was just--" You said as you caressed her cheeks.

"You know what?! Save it!" Ahra yelled at you as she slapped your hand.

"Why are you like this?! What happened to you?!" You said as your tears flowed down your cheeks.

"It's all because of you!" She said as she put her index finger on your shoulder and pushed it hard.

"You stole everything from me!" She said as she did the same action again at the same spot.

"My parent's love!" She yelled as she did the same action.

"Their trust!" She yelled and did the action again.

Myungjun held you as you almost fell. You approached her again but further from her this time.

"And their attention!" She said as tears also began to roll down her cheeks.

"My parents are my everything, Jiyeon!" She said.

"I didn't do anything Ahra." You said softly as you wiped your tears.

"They always praised you and adored you. They would always compare me to you! It's like I never exist anymore!" She yelled.

"I'm sorry..." You said as you looked down.

"I'm sorry that I stole everything from you, I'm sorry that I stole your parent's love, attention, and trust. I'm so sorry for everything." You said as you approached her.

Ahra's heart felt warm. That was the only thing that she wanted to hear from you.

"I hate you! I hate you so so much!" She said as you hugged her.

She didn't fight back nor broke the hug. You were happy and contented with that. You found yourself not crying anymore, instead, you were smiling.

"Look, I'll get going now. I had enough with this drama." She said as she broke the hug and wiped her tears. You watched her as she walked to the door.

"Can I get my old Raerae back?" You asked making her stop on her tracks.

"I'm sorry." That was the only thing that she said before she exited the room. You felt warm inside.

"Are you ok?" Minhyuk asked you worriedly.

"Yeah..." You said as you smiled at them reassuringly.

"So she was your best friend?" Jennie asked.

"Yeah, a childhood friend." You said.

"Wow, she's a total bitch." Jennie said. Yoongi glared at her. She looked at her brother with a 'what? I'm just stating facts.' look.

"But seriously though, she's really a bitch." Jennie said as she rolled her eyes.

"You're really ok?" Yoongi asked you.

"Yeah, a million times ok."
