POV: Grian
Location: Admin HeadQuarters, Infirmary
My eyes flutter open to see that I was laying on a bed in the Admin HeadQuarters' infirmary. I sit up, looking around to see if anyone else was nearby. Yes, the one other Prime Admin, Libra Skyward. She looked at me with absolute hatred and relief. I smile at her like nothing was wrong.
"Hi, Libra!" I say. She walks near my bed with anger radiating off of her, practically visible. She pushed my back down on the bed.
"Don't 'hi' me, Xelqua. You almost died! I saw you falling out of the sky with blood falling right after. We found traces of Watcher magic around you, especially around your shoulders and around your head. What on Earth happened?" She exclaimed. She knew I would never join them. I'm a Prime Admin, I'm forbidden to betray the players and other Admins.
"They tried to make me join them. I basically told them no." I explain. She looked at me with a disbelieving expression on her face.
"If I know you, and I should because I've been stuck with you as a partner for over five years, you didn't just say 'no'."
"And you'd be right about that. I've deemed the Head Watcher, who's so feared throughout our word, Kyle." She gave me an unamused expression.
"How did you even get up there anyway?"
"I have no clue." I said, shrugging. She sat down in a chair next to me, and leaned back into it.
"I had to get the Tier Argentum and Tier Purpura admins to heal you. We were almost attacked by another Watcher-" I bolted upright again.
"Do they know who I am? Did you cover me?" I yell, looking at her. I was the only one in the infirmary, so it was fine.
"Yes, I did." She replied. She turned to the side, huffing. "Now, I'm going to make you stay here for two weeks to recover."
"What?! No, you can't do that!"
"Yes, I can. Your shoulders are burnt, you probably are going to get a migraine, and you're arm's broken from when I caught you out of the sky." She was right. I had bandages around my shoulders and my left arm was in a cast. How I didn't notice earlier, I have no idea. I groan in annoyance and flop back down into the bed.
"But the new season of Hermitcraft starts in two weeks!" I protested. She smirked.
"Just on time then."
She stood up and turned towards the doors, her galaxy zipper-up hoodie rolled up to her elbows, showing off her Prime Admin streaks. I had the same, but they were on my torso. When I used my powers to their full extent, the streaks would spread onto my arms. Libra's hoodie flapped open all dramatically as she walked away.
"Dramatic, much?" I mutter, looking up and staring at the ceiling.
Over the next two weeks, Libra stayed true to her word and forced me to say in this infirmary. The curtains were closed because I didn't want anyone seeing me in my natural form.
I stood at the doors of the infirmary, those two week over. I was waiting for Skyward to show up.
"Hey." I heard her voice. I turn my head and look over my shoulder. Libra stood there with her arms crossed.
"Hi." I said. I looked down at her. In natural form, I was taller than usual. I change into my normal form, just to throw off anyone who's trying to figure out my identity. I had my usual red sweater and my gray jeans on, not similar to my natural clothing.
"I have to go now. Mumbo's probably waiting for me." I started walking away.
"Don't get caught!" She calls out. I smile and shake my head, going to the normal player's Server Hub. I wait for a few minutes, until I see a formal man walk up to me with Tier Purpura admin follows him. I look up at Mumbo, smirking.
"Look who finally decides to grace me with his presence." I say. He rolls his eyes. The admin steps forward, holding his hand out.
"Hello, I'm Xisumavoid and I'm one of the admins of Hermitcraft." He said. I shook his hand, looking directly into his eyes. I've seen him before, at that all-admin meeting. Eugh, that was so stupid. I had to hide myself, and that took too much effort. Voice changer, white robes, wings, ect. I tripped over those robes at least 5 times.
"Hi, my name is Grian. Thanks for letting me join." I say.
"Grian, where were you the last two weeks?" Mumbo asked me. I turned to him, a neutral expression on my face.
"I was kinda injured... I was trying to learn to fly with an elytra because I have no experience with it. I flew straight into a wall; it didn't quite kill me, but it broke my arm and fractured my skull." I lie, not wanting to blow my cover. The two Hermits nodded, seemingly taking my cover up story.
"Well, if you'd both follow me into the Hermitcraft server." Xisuma said. He stepped through the portal, disappearing. Mumbo turned to me.
"Anyone who joins usually trips and falls when they get into the server. If you fall into someone's arms, don't feel embarrassed. It's normal." I nodded, not really caring though. I've been through thousands of portals because of all the servers I have to check. Mumbo smiled encouragingly and also disappeared. Before I stepped in, I quickly checked that none of my Prime Admin characteristics were noticeable. I sigh in relief, seeing that they're not. I step in, feeling the server allowing me to because it's whitelisted.
I casually stroll out of the portal with my hands in my pockets, grinning like an idiot when I see Mumbo and Xisuma gawking at me.
"B-but h-how!?" Mumbo sputters. I smirk at the two.
"Just because you're clumsy, Mumbo, doesn't mean everyone is. Plus, I've been in many servers. I'd like to think that I have some experience when it comes to joining new servers I've never been in." I smirk, internally laughing at their expressions. Mumbo rolled his eyes and slapped me on my left arm. I grimace in pain as I grab it.
"Careful with the injured arm." I say. It also stung my shoulders. They were still tender because the Head Watcher doesn't know how to keep his hands to himself.
"Oh, my bad." Mumbo sarcastically says. "Forgot I have to be gentle with the gremlin."
"Alright, enough you two." Xisuma interrupts us. I smirk at Mumbo as he pales. He knows I'm going to get the last word eventually.
"Welcome to Hermitcraft, Grian. I'm sure you'll fit right in." Xisuma smiled a genuine smile. I smile back, grateful that they let me into the server.
