18. Her Affliction

But in reality, his mom was the one who had became a monster.

According to her, it was him and her who killed her husband with their childish deeds.

Jimin was an innocent boy, who just didn't want to listen to the boring advertisements! The only one that could be blamed was the dog, but the dog was also just as innocent as Jimin was.

Their mother even gave them out for adoption, because she knew that, she wouldn't be able to afford for their survival.

Though, Jimin's sister became a victim of memory loss that made her forget everything that had happened before the accident, she was adopted by some rich couple.

At times, her absence would squeeze the tears out of their eyes. Jimin's saudade feeling towards his sister grew and the fact that he refused to say his goodbye to her would depress him out.

He was never the one to understand his mother's feelings because, at one time, she'd use words that are sharper than a knife and sometimes her apologies would be softer than the clouds.

He stayed with his mother for as long as 2 months after the accident. But as time went, she had no money left with her and so, she ended up asking Jimin to stay with his cousin's house at Busan.

There was not a single day in her life, later the accident, that said she's not sober today. But as time went, his mother started forgetting things as well.

For a long time, she remembered her son and her daughter, but as time passed, the effect of the alcohol made her senile, just like her daughter, and the only one she remembered was Jimin because he came to visit her once or twice.

Circumstances made her separate from everyone she ever loved.

Jimin, who went to Seok Jin's house, his cousin brother, took really good care of him. But soon even there, his world started to crumble down to his own feet.
