A Crystal Gem Christmas

A flash from the past

A long time ago, Rose Quartz was away from the temple and at the outskirts of Beach City, she lets out a sigh and shifts to Pink Diamond letting out a quiet sigh as the cold winter air blew around her with gentle snow flurries dancing in the breeze. 

The cold weather didn't seem to bother her and she thought of a lot of things that ran through her head, demanding for a gem colony to prove to Blue and Yellow Diamond that she is just as important as them including White Diamond until she finally realized what this colony is doing to the Earth. Pink tried everything to put a stop to it but Blue and Yellow didn't care until she became Rose Quartz determined to stop the colonization herself even if it meant faking her own shattering.

She looks out in the horizon catching a glimpse of the twinkling Christmas lights in Beach City. She thought of what would happen if the rebellion never happened. It would've been terrible if she actually went through with it unaware of the destruction of all life on the planet including the humans. "Yellow, Blue, I wish you could see things the way I do. If only I can change your minds and see the beauty Earth offers and see the joy a holiday like Christmas brings." 

As she walks she shifts her form back to Rose Quartz making her way back down to Beach City surrounded by the twinkling lights around her, hearing holiday greetings and the sounds of children singing and laughing with their families. This makes her smile at the precious scenery before her until she spotted a marriage proposal under the lights making it so romantic and girl nodding to her partner bringing her in a loving embrace.
