Steven was asleep in his bed after the almost disasterous events last night.

One could say that saving Christmas was added to the metaphorical list of thing that Steven has experienced in his 17 years.

It didn't take long to feel a pressing weight on his chest to wake him from his peaceful holiday slumber waking up to seeing a certain cartoony pink haired gem jumping on his bed.

"Steven wake up! Wake up it's Christmas morning!"

Spinel was jumpier than a Mexican jumping bean hopped up on more than 50 shots of hot coffee. "It's Christmas morning wake up sleepy gem!"

"I'm up Spinel, I'm up already." Steven said with a tired yawn reaching for his pink jacket and heading downstairs with her to see the gems and his dad with a ton of Christmas presents.

"Merry Christmas, Steven!" Pearl waves.

"Merry Christmas Steven." Amethyst was in the form of a reindeer nudging at Garnet.

"Santa really came here and left all these presents for us!" Spinel jumps into a nearby pile of presents popping out with a Christmas bow on her head.

Garnet hands her a present with her name on it. "For you." Spinel opens the present to find a cute little ragdoll with pink button eyes, black pigtails wearing a white dress with a pink heart in the center smiling with rosy cheeks.

"Well what is it, whatcha got?" Amethyst looks over the gem's shoulder. "It's the dolly I asked for. My first Christmas gift." She smiles holding the little doll close as it made a squeak sound.

"I'll treasure it forever."

Pearl opens her present revealing an electric violin with an amplifier. It looked like Greg's gift to Pearl. "A violin, you shouldn't have."
"It's actually an electric violin, like an electric guitar but cool yet classy."

Steven looks to find his presents ranging to a phone case decorated with glow-in-the dark star stickers to Onion? How did that weird kid get in there?

"Steven, there's a note on the Christmas tree." Pearl read a little of it and hands it over to Steven who reads it with eyes slightly wide then smiles at it.

It read:

🎄Dear, Steven Universe
You and the Crystal Gems have saved Christmas in the nick of time, you really are a good young man that I can say with all honesty.
Needless to say, Christmas is a holiday for spending time with those you hold dear and you don't want to grow up too fast you know, you're only a teenager once and enjoy it with your family and loved ones.

Take care, keep up the good work and Merry Christmas,
Santa Claus ❄

P.S.
Tell Peridot that there are no hard feelings and to tone it down a bit with the lights next Christmas when I come to leave gifts at Little Homeworld. I can't drive a sleigh blind.

Warmest regards,
Santa 🎄"

A evening Christmas celebration takes place at little Homeworld and White Diamond being radiant without Christmas lights needed in place of the Christmas tree and the gems were doing present exchanging with one another.

"For you Lapis." Peridot said handing her the Game of Thrones DVD box set with a bow slapped on it. "Gee, thanks..."

Connie was there with a present in her hands spotting Steven with Blue Diamond.
"Merry Christmas Connie."
"Season's Greetings to you too, Steven, it's for you." She said handing him a present. "I have one for you too." He said as they exchanged gifts.

Connie opens it to find a locket with a picture of both of them. "It's beautiful." She said hugging him. He hugs her back blushing a little. The 17 year old opens his present to find... mistletoe?

His cheeks turn pink a holding the little green plant tied with red ribbon making the gems around him giggle teasingly.

Spinel's arm stretches holding it above them with a mischievous laugh. "Now, kiss."

Connie holds Steven's hand letting their fingers interlock as they share their first kiss under the mistletoe.

A chorus of "aww's" "ooh's" and some "eew's" came from the other gems at their mistletoe kiss.

Christmas really is a magical time of the year being with those around you especially with the Diamonds. This truly is the best Christmas ever for everyone,

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
