"So you're coming to the Christmas party tonight, right Steven?"
"Of course, Connie I wouldn't miss it for the world." Steven said on the phone. "I'll see you tonight and remember, it's ugly sweater optional."After their phone call, Steven looks for an ugly sweater to wear for Connie's Christmas party. "Hey, Steven, whatcha lookin' for?" Amethyst was holding at a jingle bell tied to a silk red ribbon.
"You really decked yourself out, Amethyst." He said taking notice of her form. "Thanks, candy cane?" She said offering him the Christmas candy treat. "No thanks Amethyst. I'm trying to find an ugly sweater to wear for Connie's Christmas party."
"I can help with that."After some time, glitter, ribbons, sequins, cotton pom poms, a red bow and sewing Amethyst had just created a sweater uglier than any other ugly Christmas sweater that would put all of them to shame. "Do you think Connie's gonna like it?" Steven said staring at himself in the mirror. "She totally will and you enjoy that party." Amethyst tells him giving the half-gem teenager a colorful Christmas tin filled with different kinds of popcorn.
"Enjoy the party Steven!" Greg waves from the van dropping him off at the Maheswaran household where it is decorated with lovely lights strung up. He fixed at his Santa hat and comes up at the front door knocking it to find Connie's mother.
"Happy holidays Dr. Maheswaran." He said with a smile holding the decorated tin. "Happy holidays, Steven, glad you can join the party." She leads him inside the house to find Connie wearing a red and green ugly sweater with white cotton trim on the sleeves with a Christmas tree on the center decorated with garland and cotton pom poms and sequins with a black skirt. "Steven you came!" She said hugging him.
"Like I said I would and I brought this tin. Pearl thought it would be like a good idea to bring something to the party.""She thought right and it smells amazing." She said taking hold of the container placing it on the table.
"I really like your sweater."
"Amethyst made it for me."The two talked together enjoying the party and introducing him to some of the other guests she's invited.
Connie's party was wonderful for Steven celebrating with her until the mistletoe came up.
"Would you look at that, a mistletoe." Steven blushed a little being under the little plant. Connie lets out a soft laugh gently kissing Steven's cheek.
It was an unforgettable party for Steven and Connie having a good time with her family and taking memorable pictures.
