A Crystal Gem Christmas

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Volleyball watched as Spinel danced around with Steven after seeing Sadie Killer and The Suspects perform a special Christmas concert which proved to be really fun for the pink pigtailed gem listening to their rocking rendition of classic Christmas songs. "I'm swinging by Little Homeworld so I'll see you later, Spinel."

She waves as he left for the gem community to share more about Christmas with them and to make sure Peridot doesn't go too overboard with the "Make Santa Notice Little Homeworld" thing that could result in a possible gem crack accident.

The pink pearl goes over to where Spinel is drawing a picture of a snowman in the sand with her finger. "That's a cute snowman sand drawing." She said in her cute voice.
She looks up seeing Vollyball standing next to her with her hands behind her back, a typical position pearls are in. "You think it's cute?" She said tilting her head to one side. "It is, especially with the smile you drew on its face."

It wasn't until a wave came and washed the sand drawing away.

"That's kind of a let down but you can draw another right." Spinel slowly nods backing away from where the wave washed away her sand drawing.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

Spinel looks around seeing not snow but just sand. "How, there's just sand not even a tiny bit of snow."

"We can make a snowman but out of sand. A sand snowman." Said Volleyball.

The two gems got down to compact as much sand possible to make a sand snowman together. "The shells can be the eyes." Spinel places two seashells she found as the eyes. "Can we use this?" Volleybal held a freshly washed up piece of kelp. "I don't see why not." She wraps it around like a scarf. "Here's two sticks for arms and hands!"

"There's one thing missing..." The two pink gems stared at one another until getting the idea, "A smile and this cone shaped shell for a nose." Volleyball draw a smile on its face while Spinel sticks the shell as the nose. "Do you thing we should name it?"

Volleyball nods, "How about, Sandy, Sandy the sand snowman."

"I love you Sandy." Spinel hugs the sand snowman seeing the perk being that snowmen made of sand don't melt under the sun it's the ocean they gotta watch out for.
