~Niyo's POV~
I knew it! Something felt off about the whole thing!
When Tobirama mentioned that he hadn't left his office the whole day, I immediately connected the dots. Back in the forest it wasn't him and since I couldn't feel chakra, it was easier to fool me. I even told the people at the hospital that Tobirama was looking into the matter so they also must have done nothing...ugh!
I bolted out of the window without even fastening my swords properly, dismissing Tobirama's shouts from behind me until he caught up and matched paces to the location in the forest where the trap was. The bad feeling I always got before something was to go seriously wrong settled in my gut and made everything heavy.
"You see things here, I have to go ahead." I wanted to confirm something as soon as possible.
"Ahead where?"
"I...just...have a hunch." I informed and quickly left before there were any more delays. I crossed the non-existent boundary of the Morinome and no sooner had I done that, a kunai came flying through the air. I deflected it easily and kept running towards the heart of the Morinome. My chest was burning from the exercise, as were all my insides.
"Niyo?!" I recognized the voice. "What are you doing here at this time of the night?! Answer me!"
"Fuck off Miyori, I don't have time to indulge your vanity at this moment. You stay on lookout and gather however many of us as you can!"
The feeling, the hunch I had, I wanted it to be wrong because if it wasn't I don't know what I would do. The forest was quiet since everybody was sleeping but there was still some disturbance in the air that felt wrong. I made my way to bacchan's cabin wanting her to throw a shoe at me for disturbing her in the middle of the night but that was not what happened. The door was unlocked and it added to my worry.
"Bacchan?" I called but there was no response. I drew my swords and stepped silently in the cabin, analyzing my surroundings with my eyes. Nobody was there so I made haste and went to bacchan's sleeping quarters, the door to which was also ajar. I took a deep breath and just barged in. Nobody was there, except bacchan, who didn't wake up even from all the noise.
Oh no.
I rushed to the old lady and put my swords aside to check her pulse, if she had any. I did multiple checks and rechecks and the more I spent time doing that, the more I panicked when I couldn't find anything.
My attention was so focused on finding out whether bacchan was alive or not that I was missing the bigger, glaring details which came to light when the commotion I caused woke everyone up and one by one they started filing in bacchan's room with candles and other means to light up the dark which I wish had stayed that way.
The bed was red. And dripping. With bacchan's blood. My own hands were drenched in it. Once it registered in my brain, I got away from the blood and the body like a cat that springs from water, my breathing heavy, eyes wide and mouth agape.
"What is happening here?!" Tobirama's angry and demanding voice brought me out of my trance and I stood up with my swords in my hands. "Niyo stop-"
I didn't listen and jumped from the window to find bacchan's killer. I knew she was nearby, this method of murder belonged to just one person. My sister. I was angry when it settled that bacchan was killed and in such a way too. I was numb and enraged at the same time. I kept myself going with anger thinking of ways I would torture the culprit and what appendages I would cut off first and how I would carve the torso.
I just had to go to the first clearing there was, it was also the place where Makiko always attacked me. I jumped off the tree branch and landed in the middle and in less than a second, I was surrounded. Her bitchy laughter echoed the air as she appeared from the crowd.
"Did you like the little present I left for you dear sister?"
"YOU FUCKING-" I was prevented from advancing by two arms restricting my movement.
"She's provoking you, stop and think for a second." I stomped my foot forcibly on Tobirama's and headbutted him in the neck making him let me go. The moment he did, I charged in the crowd. The cronies were all the Tanogata who had refused to join Konoha or had fled with Makiko before everything went down. No matter the number, I was feeling angry enough to take as much as were thrown in my way.
I cut and hacked everyone who dared step in my way to kill Makiko. It had all gone too far, for bacchan to be dragged in it and killed. The fact that I was not able to mould chakra was making it hard for me to continue fighting more than five minutes but I was not going to hand over the chance of ending this once and for all so I tried again and again to summon any chakra. It felt useless until I forced my tenketsu open. It hurt a lot but the power surging through me had made me numb to the pain for the time being.
"Say your prayers." I warned once and used my oil chakra to cut down half of the enemies at once, going after the other half without wasting any time. I didn't care that burn patches had started to appear on my skin and that I was hurting myself beyond repair and that after this I might lose what made me a shinobi but that was alright. Makiko will die today and there won't be nobody left to hurt my loved ones ever again.
Tobirama was off fighting in the other corner and keeping my out-of-control chakra from damaging anybody from the Morinome. I was shook beyond reason and nobody was going to stop me from getting my revenge. I wasn't even thinking about what I had lost and that I would never see bacchan again, I was just wreaking havoc, focusing on ending my sister.
She won't be escaping this time.

Ok so first of all I apologise for disappearing without a notice. Some wires snapped in our city and we didn't have internet for a longass time so that was one reason. I was sick and had my annual Japanese exam so that's another reason for not posting.
This week we have the annual International Book Fair so I am posting the chapter early <3
