Hearing what Ember said made Trevor pissed off at his daughter. He rolled his eyes before grabbing his daughter and forcing her down the stairs.

"Daddy, that hurts!" Ember exclaimed, and Trevor let go of her arm before looking at where Ainsley sat on the couch.

"This is our family now, Ember. And if you are going to act out and fight us on everything, I think that I'll look into boarding school." Trevor spat, and Ember's eyes went wide.

"You wouldn't." She whispered.

"Try me, honey." Trevor huffed. Ember swallowed hard before moving to where Ainsley sat. She sat beside her before pulling her legs to her chest as tears welled in her eyes. She didn't care if she was acting poorly, all she cared about was not being the step-daughter to Olivia Benson. Or having to live with her and her two kids.

"Momma." Adalee whimpered, as Olivia held her hand as they walked down the stairs.

"I know that you were just angry, but misbehaving and going to hit your stepsister isn't appropriate. You need to be a big girl and behave like one. Okay?" Olivia spoke, as she stopped and tightened her daughter's ponytail.

"Yes, ma'am." Adalee sniffled. They got to where Trevor stood, and Olivia hugged her daughter tightly before pushing her in the direction of the couch. Olivia looked at Trevor as the girls got settled.

"How Ember is acting is horrible." Trevor breathed, as he grabbed his wife by her waist and pulled her close.

"Adalee hasn't been acting as she should be either. So we just need to make it through this speed bump and to the happiness on the other side. Like living together. And doing what we did the night before we got married." Olivia spoke, whispering the last sentence. Olivia stood on her tiptoes before kissing her husband gently.

Trevor and Olivia ended up giving the girls a few minutes to cool down before starting the family meeting. Their first of what might end up being many family meetings.

"Okay, so Olivia and I are married. And I know that you two older girls aren't too excited about us being a family, but we are a family and that's that." Trevor spoke.

"Don't we get a say?" Ember spat, and Olivia sighed softly.

"Honey-"

"DON'T CALL ME HONEY!" Ember yelled, before standing and moving to run out.

"EMBER MARIE LANGAN! I WILL SEND YOU TO BOARDING SCHOOL IF YOU DO NOT SIT YOUR ASS DOWN AND SHUT UP!" Trevor spat, and Olivia felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.

"Babe, go cool down," Olivia whispered, as she grabbed her husband's arm and pulled him away from his daughter.

"I'm tired of her deciding if I can be happy or not! I love you, Olivia! And she wants me to be unhappy!" Trevor cried, and Ember stopped and looked at her father.

"Daddy, I want you to be happy. Just not like this." Ember whispered. Olivia gave her a soft smile before drawing Trevor close.

"Love, go get some air. Ember needs some space too." Olivia spoke.

"This is our family now. Those are our girls." Trevor whispered.

"And it is our family. Sometimes we just need to walk away from the situation until we have a clear mind. My Mom is going to be home soon, and then she can help buffer the situation." Olivia spoke before kissing Trevor and sending him outside.

"I'm sorry that I yelled at you." Ember breathed, as she wiped the tears from her cheeks.

"I know, Ember. And I won't make the mistake of calling you anything but Ember until you give me the permission. You can go upstairs and chill in my room. And Addie and Ainsley, go play."

Olivia checked on her husband, but he wouldn't talk. So she went upstairs and checked on Ember. She lightly knocked on her bedroom door before opening it.

"How are you doing, Ember?" Olivia questioned.

"You have a lot of pictures of you and this man," Ember spoke, as she held up one of the many pictures she had taken down and laid on Olivia's bed.

"That's Elliot. He is Adalee and Ainsley's father. He was and is so special to me." Olivia spoke.

"Do you want to have a baby with my Daddy? Or-" Ember started.

"It takes me forever to fall in love, Ember. Someone has to be very special for me to fall for them as hard as I fell for your father. I love him so much. And I'd love to have another baby, but only if everyone else agrees to it." Olivia spoke.

"I'm scared that Daddy won't love me anymore if he has a new baby with you. One that hasn't hurt him so much." Ember breathed. Olivia looked at the girl before frowning.

"We don't need to move in together, Ember. We can stay in different houses until we can work through all of our problems. And in the end, if something doesn't work out, we can always get a divorce and just be friends." Olivia spoke.

"He'll be hurt more if you break up with him than he was after I yelled at him."

"Ember, in the end... in the end we just need to start moving forward. Either moving towards us being a family or us being just friends. Like, can't you at least try to get along with Ainsley and Adalee? Adalee is a year younger than you, but at least she's close in age to you."

"Mommy was going to have another baby with Daddy once she was out of the academy. They promised me. But then she died." Ember breathed.

"I'm sorry, Ember."

"Will you die before you and Daddy have a baby?" Ember asked, and Olivia shook her head.

"I don't plan on dying for awhile. So, are you going to give this family a shot?" Olivia asked.

"I don't know yet... I don't know if I can trust you." Ember sighed.

"I understand, Ember. Now, dinner is ready. Do you want to eat?" Olivia asked.

"No. I wanna go home."
