Olivia was sent to the hospital to get more blood drawn and for a more in-depth ultrasound. If something was seen, they would send her in for an MRI and go from there. Olivia was shaking as the nurse took her blood, and she felt like crying during the ultrasound. She had been praying that maybe Dr. Harris had read the results wrong and she was actually pregnant, but when the tech did the ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and a mass on Olivia's liver.

"Olivia Langan?" A voice called, and Olivia stood on shaky legs as she moved to where the nurse stood.

"I'm Olivia."

"Alright, honey, I'm going to take you to a room and get you prepped for your MRI." She spoke, as she gently placed her hand to Olivia's back. Olivia nodded slowly as she kept her head down.

"Uh, so what's going to happen if they can see the mass isn't just a cyst?" Olivia whispered.

"They will do a biopsy. You are young, so more than likely it won't be anything at all. Just a mass. But if it is something, an oncologist will be assigned to you and they will look into treatments."

"Can they just remove the whole thing during the biopsy?" Olivia asked quietly.

"They can and more than likely they will. Do you have someone here with you? Because it may be-"

"I don't want to worry my husband... he didn't even know that I thought I had been pregnant. So he doesn't know that I'm spending my day off here." Olivia mumbled. The nurse stopped her before frowning deeply.

"Do you have anyone else you want me to call while you are getting your MRI? Your mother? Father? Maybe a sibling or a friend?"

"No... I don't want anyone to know."

The MRI showed that the mass wasn't fluid-filled. So it was a mass and they wanted to remove it and see what it was as soon as possible. Olivia didn't know why this was moving so fast, but she had to get in contact with her husband. She wanted to lie to him, but she decided against that because she'd need someone to drive her home after she got cut open.

"Hey, baby. Where are you?" Trevor asked once he answered his wife's call.

"Uh, I'm at the hospital," Olivia spoke quietly.

"What? Why?!" Trevor exclaimed.

"So, I thought I was pregnant... so I went to see Dr. Harris. But I'm not pregnant... instead they found a mass on my liver... tomorrow morning they are going to remove it and I need you here. Please." Olivia whimpered.

"Baby... do they think it's cancer?" Trevor asked, as he slowly lowered himself into a chair.

"They don't know yet. The doctor's said that my blood levels could be off because of the mass... but it doesn't mean that it's cancerous. It could just be throwing my whole body off because it's there... but can you drop the girls off with my Mom and tell her what is happening? I'm staying here tonight because my surgery is happening at like 5 tomorrow morning and they want to keep an eye on me just in case." Olivia spoke.

"I'll be there in an hour. Just don't worry too much, Liv. Because soon we will know everything and can take the next steps."

"If it is cancer... I want to freeze my eggs... okay?" Olivia whimpered.

"Babe... I'll see you soon. I love you so much that it hurts."

"Trev-"

"I don't want to think about you having cancer, okay? You can't hate me for that."

Olivia tried her hardest to sleep that night, but neither she nor her husband could. They were both wide awake as they thought of what the results would be in the morning. They were both praying for it to be nothing because they still had so much that they wanted together.

"So you thought you were pregnant?" Trevor asked as he worked on braiding Olivia's hair. He had learned how to braid from his wife's sister, and now he felt so weird using that ability to braid his second wife's hair.

"I did... I was feeling how I did with the girls. I was sure that Dr. Harris would say that I was pregnant. Then the nurse was quiet as she came in and said that the results were back. She would have been more excited or something if I was pregnant." Olivia spoke.

"We will have a baby soon. Trust me." Trevor smiled gently as if the thing on his mind right now was his wife going through chemo or something.

"Alright, Mrs. Langan, are you ready to go?" A nurse asked, and Olivia's eyes went wide.

"It isn't even five yet." Olivia breathed.

"We can get you in early. Once the doctor removes the mass, they will send it straight to the lab. They will test it and see what it is. By the time you wake up, we will know what you are up against... if it is anything at all."

"Okay... uh, can I have one moment?" Olivia asked quietly.

"Of course. I'll be back in a few minutes."

Olivia looked at her husband, and Trevor leaned down and kissed her lips gently.

"You've got this, Liv."

"I'm still scared." Olivia whimpered.

"I am too... but I love you and I'll be here when you wake up," Trevor spoke. He rested his forehead against his wife's hair as she took a shaky breath.

"If it's nothing, I don't want to tell the girls. I want to pretend that I was just working. I don't want them to worry."

"What mass?" Trevor smiled, and Olivia rolled her eyes before pulling her husband down for one last kiss.

It wasn't a long surgery, and Olivia was fine through it all. When she woke up, Trevor was beside her and he got to tell her the news.

"Are they sure?" Olivia asked quietly, as she brushed a few tears from her cheeks.

"They are sure. They said in a few weeks you should be healed and feeling better... and soon you and I can finally start trying for a baby again." Trevor smiled. Olivia started to cry, and her husband held her close.

"I was scared that not only would I be leaving you and Ember... but my girls wouldn't have parents anymore."
