Olivia walked back downstairs with Ember and had her get her shoes on before she went outside to talk to her husband again. She sank down beside Trevor and ran her hand over his back before leaning close and kissing his cheek.
"Trevor, Ember wants to go home. So do you think you can drive her home?" Olivia asked.
"Are we getting a divorce? Or annulling our marriage?" Trevor asked, and Olivia shook her head.
"We aren't giving up this easily. We are going to fight for our marriage because we love each other. It's still a little shocking that we are married and in love after only a few weeks of knowing each other... but I like it." Olivia spoke. Trevor nodded before looking at his wife and frowning.
"Can you come over tonight? We can spend some time together?" Trevor asked and Olivia smiled and nodded.
"I think I can do that. I'll be there at around ten if you still want me too."
"I still want you, baby. Trust me."

Trevor and Ember were silent on the car ride home. When they pulled into the spot outside of their house, Ember was quick to get out and run up the stairs to the front door. Trevor turned off the car before leaning back and running his hands over his face.
He felt so lost. Just like after Angie passed away. But now he felt love for another woman but it seemed to be throwing everything off with his relationship with his daughter.
"Daddy, can I have the keys? I want to go to my room." Ember mumbled as she opened the passenger side door. Trevor took the keys from the ignition before getting out and walking around the car and towards the front door.
He hesitated as he unlocked the front door.
"How you acted was horrible, Ember. Olivia is a good woman and she has been nothing but nice to you. She saved your life, Ember Marie. Remember that." Trevor breathed.
"I don't want you to replace Mommy with Olivia. It's not fair to her or me. Mommy was the only one you should ever be with. And I know she is gone, but don't move on. I was okay with it at first, but then you had to marry Olivia. Did you know that Olivia still has pictures of Elliot all over her room?" Ember huffed.
"I have pictures of your mother all over my room. We lost our first loves, so of course, we will want to keep the memories on our walls." Trevor huffed.
"But-"
"Honestly, kid, I'm sick and tired of you. So go inside and go to bed. If you get hungry, deal with it. Because you are grounded. Don't leave your room until tomorrow morning."

"You seem tense." Olivia breathed, as she straddled her husband's body and massaged his broad shoulders. She didn't think that he'd want her to come over, but he called her and asked her to come because he needed her. He needed to do something to get his mind off of everything that was happening lately.
"Of course I'm tense. You witnessed what happened today." Trevor replied, his voice sharp and cold.
"Don't take it out on me, babe." Olivia sighed. She moved off of Trevor before climbing under the sheets as she groaned deeply.
"I'm sorry." Trevor frowned. He rolled over and looked at his wife.
"What are we going to do, Trevor?"
"I think we should just all move in together. If they have a problem with it, we can deal with it together. As a family." Trevor replied. He reached out and grabbed Olivia by her waist before pulling her close. He kissed her shoulder gently before forcing a smile.
"Where are we moving then? My place? Yours? A new house?"
"It might make sense for us to just leave behind everything."
"It's not that easy, Trevor. Do you think that our girls will really be willing to move?"
"No. But as their parents, we have to make the decisions."

It was nearly three months after Olivia and Trevor got married before they had gotten a house and moved in together. Adalee and Ainsley were better sports and knew that they had no choice, so they weren't acting out. But Ember was a different story. She was fighting Olivia and Trevor on everything.
"Ember, can you take your bedding upstairs to your room? Adalee is already up there making her bed. You need to make yours too." Olivia spoke, as she sat a laundry basket in front of her stepdaughter. Ember was staring at her phone and ignoring Olivia completely.
"Ember, please do not ignore me. Please take your stuff to your room and make your bed." Olivia spoke a little sterner.
"You aren't my mother and I don't have to listen to you. So if you want my bed made, go do it yourself." Ember spat. Olivia closed her eyes and took a deep breath before shaking her head.
"I don't care, Ember. Go make your bed or else you are going to be grounded. Again." Olivia spoke, before taking Ember's phone. She put it in her pocket before moving to walk into the kitchen, but Ember wasn't done. She always seemed to need to have the last word.
"Give me my phone back... bitch!" Ember spat. Olivia's eyes went wide as she turned to look at the girl.
"Excuse me?"
"You aren't my mother. You don't pay my phone bill. And I will not listen to you. So give me back my phone, you bitch!" Ember yelled. Olivia had never heard a swear word leave Ember's mouth, and now she's heard it twice in a row. Olivia shook her head before walking over to the girl and staring her down.
"Do not swear in this house. Do you understand me?" She huffed.
"Bite me," Ember growled before shoving Olivia. Ember took off for the front door, but as she was opening it Trevor was walking.
"What's happening in here?!" Trevor huffed.
"Ember called me a bitch and shoved me. She's not getting her phone back and she's grounded. You decide for how long." Olivia huffed.
Trevor looked at his daughter and sighed deeply before shaking his head.
