It took them a while to get pregnant. Olivia and Trevor had very busy work schedules, but the time that they weren't working they were working on something different and way more special to them and their girls. Olivia and Trevor couldn't wait to bring a baby into their family, one that was hopefully going to completely blend their family together.
"When is Daddy going to be coming home?" Ainsley asked, as her mother braided her hair so it would be wavy for school the next morning and not just unruly curls.
"Soon, sweetie," Olivia replied, as she tied off the french braid before turning her daughter around.
"I want him home now!" Ainsley cried. Olivia frowned before shaking her head.
"He can't come home right now because he's in Oklahoma helping his very important client. You just need to make it a few more days and he should be calling us and telling us that he is coming home." Olivia replied, before moving to kiss her daughter's forehead. Ainsley had other plans as she pushed past her mother and went running from the kitchen as she cried.
Olivia groaned as she leaned against the counter before shoving her hands into the front pocket of the sweatshirt she was wearing. It smelt like Trevor, so it had been her go-to since he left 8 weeks ago.
"I bet that you miss your Daddy just as much everyone else does." Olivia breathed, as she ran her thumbs over her swell. She smiled when she felt a small flutter, before hearing as someone cleared their throat.
Olivia quickly pulled her hands out of the pocket as she looked at Ember and Adalee.
"Hey, girls... what are you two up to?" Olivia asked quietly.
"Who were you talking to?" Ember asked, and Olivia shrugged.
"Uh, myself. I'm lonely now that your father isn't here... uh, did you get your homework done yet?" Olivia asked.
"Liv, I feel like I know who you were talking too and I'm so excited." Ember smiled, as she walked towards her step-mother.
"You are excited about my Mom talking to herself?" Adalee questioned, as she walked closer to her older sister and her mother.
"Adalee, are you kidding me? Olivia is pregnant." Ember smiled, and Adalee looked at them with wide eyes.
"Momma?" Adalee asked, and Olivia frowned deeply before sighing softly.
"Okay... so I'm sorry..."
"About giving us a-"
"Ainsley doesn't know. Please don't yell it. I don't want her to find out before your father gets home. He wanted us to tell you all."
"Why didn't you tell us before he left?" Adalee asked, as she reached out and placed her hand against her mother's stomach.
"Well, because we were waiting until I was 12 weeks along... but then I hit that milestone when your father left."
"You've been hiding this from us for 8 weeks longer than you needed too?!" Ember exclaimed.
"We've known since I was 8 weeks pregnant. So more like we have been hiding this for 12 weeks." Olivia spoke.
"Can't we just get on a plane and go see Daddy? I want to tell Ainsley so then we can start celebrating!" Adalee spoke as she started to jump around a bit. Olivia sighed softly before shaking her head.
"I have to work and you three have school. So just please don't say anything and she'll know soon. Go to bed." Olivia spoke, as she fanned the girls away.
"I don't know if I'll be able to sleep because I'm so excited!" Ember smiled, as she and Adalee left the kitchen.

Olivia laid in bed later and she gently rubbed her stomach as she waited for her husband to answer her call.
"Trevor Langan," Trevor spoke.
"Are you busy right now?" Olivia asked.
"I could never be too busy to talk to my beautiful wife," Trevor spoke and Olivia could hear the smile in his voice.
"Ainsley threw a fit tonight because she wants you to come home. So when will that happen?" Olivia asked.
"Probably this weekend," Trevor spoke and Olivia frowned before nodding slowly as she closed her eyes.
"Liv?" Trevor asked after his wife had been silent for a while.
"I'm really showing now, Trev... and our baby has been fluttering around for about a week... I wish you could be here and feel it moving." Olivia whispered. She was in tears at this point and just wanted a hug from her husband.
"I'll be home soon, baby. I wish I could be there. I wish that I could be there to be with you through this all... and I will be soon." Trevor spoke.
"How is your case going?" Olivia sniffled, as she climbed out of bed before going and grabbing Trevor's sweatshirt again. She put her phone on speaker for a moment as she tugged the sweatshirt on.
"Not amazing. I just hope that he gets off because then I can bring him home to Manhattan."
"What's on the agenda tomorrow?" Olivia questioned quietly.
"Tomorrow we have closing arguments. But depending on fast the jury decides, I may be able to get on a plane tomorrow night and surprise the girls on Friday morning." Trevor spoke.
"Are you sure? Because I don't want to get excited just to have to wait till Saturday or Sunday." Olivia whispered.
"Baby, I think that maybe I'll see you in the morning. I love you." Trevor spoke before hanging up. Olivia was confused but she ignored it because she was tired and just wanted to go to bed.

The next morning, Olivia got up and she went downstairs. She stopped in the doorway of the kitchen and saw her husband making coffee.
"So you really meant it, huh?" Olivia sniffled, as tears threatened to spill over.
"I talked to the judge last night. I'm going back on Sunday night to finish court on Monday. We hadn't gotten any breaks in awhile, so we are getting a long weekend to finish strong on Monday. So c'mere, baby. I've missed you."
Olivia quickly walked to her husband before hugging him tightly.
"I've missed you so much, baby. I never want to be apart from you again... do you understand that?" Olivia spoke.
"Completely... now you told me that you are showing... were you lying or are you truly pregnant?" Trevor teased.
"Nope, I was lying the whole time just to keep you." Olivia laughed as a few tears slipped down her cheeks. She stepped back and Trevor splayed his hand across her stomach as their baby fluttered.
