Luke's Pov
"I can't believe she's here," I exclaimed as I adjusted my sunglasses on my face as I stared at the blue sea in front of me.
"Hey man, maybe its fate," Kyle said, making me roll my eyes at him.
"Fate my ass. This is more like a curse, then it is fate," I said as I kicked the soft beach sand under my feet.
"I thought you were still in love with her?" Kyle asked, and I couldn't help but groan.
"I never said that I wasn't. It's just the fact that she had already moved on when I'm still stuck on trying to move on from her," I said.
"Then why don't you try and talk to her. Make her fall for you again," he said, and I couldn't help but scoff.
"I don't even think she wants to talk to me after how I acted when she left," I said softly, remembering how I acted that day towards her.
"Well, why don't you try to fix it?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Because she has a boyfriend," I stated as my heart ached at that sentence.
"When has that stopped someone who's going after the one they love?" He asked, and I just shrugged my shoulders.
"So, you're coming to the studio tomorrow, right?" He asked as we walked over to his car.
"I guess," I shrugged as we got into his car. "But who would I be dancing with?" I asked as Kyle started the car and pulled out of the parking space we were in.
"Val's friend is coming. I guess you two would be dancing together after we all finish dancing with the instructors," he said.
"What dances are we doing?" I asked.
"The Waltz and Salsa," he said, and I couldn't help but scrunch up my nose.
"Oh. So what's Val's friend like?" I asked a little curious since I hadn't met her yet.
"She has dark hair, blue eyes, she's sweet, caring, and...........fun?" He said, a little unsure.
"You don't sound too sure about that last one," I said.
"Well, she's kinda fun," he said, still unsure.
"What does that mean?" I asked with amusement.
"Well, she likes to....party? No......uhm......well she....." He trailed off, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Wow, is she that boring?" I asked, as my laughing ceased.
"Kinda," he mumbled, and I could just see the way he tried to keep his laugh in.

Emily's Pov
"Come on, Em. You have to go," Valerie exclaimed from the other side of my desk.
"I don't have time for that, Val. I have a bunch of work to do and I have to start with your dress," I said as I tried to finish the sketch of Val's dress.
"You still have three months to do that," she said.
"Yeah, and I have three months to learn how to dance," I stated, not looking up at her as I heard her sigh.
"Please, Em," she whined.
I sighed as I placed the pencil I had in my hand on my desk before looking up at her pouty face. "Fine," I mumbled.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," she exclaimed as she ran over to my side before giving me a side hug. "Just remember to dress casual," she said as she pulled away from the embrace.
"I always dress casual," I said as I looked down at my clothes.
"Right," she said, sarcastically making me roll my eyes at her. "Well anyway, be at the local studio tomorrow at ten," she said as she skipped towards my door. "Oh, and by the way, Kyle's friend is going to be there," she said, and I just waved her off with my hand before continuing with the sketch I have been working on.
