Emily's Pov

"No," I stated as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"There is no way in hell that I'm going to a club wearing that," I said as I pointed to the dress Valerie held in her hand.

"Come on, Em," she whined as she had been for the past twenty minutes. "For me?" She said as she gave me her puppy dog eyes, with her bottom lip, poked out into a pout.

"No, Valerie," I started, making her huff in annoyance.

"Come on, Emily. You have to get out of this house, for once in your life, live a little," she said.

"Whatever," I mumbled as I continued with the new sketched I had been working on.

"For crying out loud, Emily. Leave you're bloody sketched for when you go back to work. We barely spend any time together because you ever do is work," she exclaimed while pulling at the ends of her hair.

"If you go, will you just leave me the hell alone for the next week?" I asked as I looked up at her.

"Yeah, I would most certainly do that," she said in a sarcastic tone. "Come on, Emily. You know I won't leave you alone," she said with furrowed eyebrows making me groan.

"Well, then I'm not going," I stated, merely going back to my sketch.

"Fine, Emily. I'll leave you alone for one week only," she said, and I couldn't help but grin.

"I'll be ready in an hour," I said as I got out of my chair and headed towards the bathroom.

I scrunched my nose in disgust as I stared at the dress that tightly hugged every curve of my body.

"Valerie, I look like a complete slut," I stated as she handed me a pair of flats since I didn't want to wear those high, high heels she gave me earlier.

"You look amazing, Em," she said with a massive grin on her face. "Now come on, Kyle and Luke are already downstairs," she stated, and my eyebrows grew wide.

"Wait, Luke's coming with?" I asked, and she just nodded her head. "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" I asked.

"I didn't think it would matter," she said with her eyebrows crushed together.

"I'm suddenly not feeling so well, you guys should just go on without me," I said as I started rubbing my temples to try and convince her.

"Come on, Emily. Tonight is your night, just let loose and have fun," she said as she grabbed my hand and instantly pulled me out of my room and down the stairs, me stumbling halfway down the stairs.

"Thank god, you're finally done," Kyle exclaimed.

"Yeah, well, that was all Emily's fault for being her stubborn self," Valerie said, making both Kyle and Luke turn to me.

I bit my lip as I watch how Luke was checking me out while licking his lips to moisten them.

"Well then, let's go," Valerie said, interrupting the utter silence.

"Can I get the strangest thing you have?" I asked the bartender, who just smiled at me and nodded his head.

I can't believe I agreed to this. Everyone has already left me, and I haven't felt as abandoned as I did at this moment.

"Here you go," the bartender said before taking care of another customer.

I looked down at the green liquid that was in a wine glass. I slowly grabbed the glass and brought it up to my mouth before accidentally taking a considerable gulp, causing my throat to burn slightly.
