Emily's Pov

I groaned as I stumbled my way down the stairs. I was so tired. I could barely close an eye last night due to the images of Luke and I kissing taking over my mind.

Once I finally reached the bottom of the stairs, I immediately made my way to the kitchen since my throat was parched. When I finally reached the kitchen, a smile crept onto my face when I saw Luke standing at the kitchen island with a bowl in front of him and different ingredients around him.

"Good morning," I said in a low, raspy voice causing Luke to miss the bowl when he was about to throw the flour into it. A giggle escaped my eyes when I saw how wide his eyes were as he stared at me.

"Morning, can I help you?" He asked, and I just raised my eyebrows at him. "Oh god, I'm sorry that came out a little rude," he said as he shook his head.

"I'm just going to get a bottle of water," I said, and he just nodded his head as I made my way towards the fridge. "What are you even doing?" I asked as I closed the fridge once I got myself a bottle.

"Oh-yeah, Uhm, I just...." He stammered, and I couldn't help but giggle at this. "I was going to make you breakfast as a thank you," he said, trying to act casual, but I could see the blush on his face.

"A thank you for what?" I asked as I took a seat on one of the chairs at the kitchen island.

"For letting me stay here," he said as he gave me one of his amazing smiles.

"Oh," I said softly as I watch him continue with what he was busy doing before. "Can I help you with anything?" I asked as I placed the water bottle on the island.

"Are you sure, because last time you cooked, you burned the omelets," he pointed out, and I could help but laugh at the memory. "I would much rather prefer you making us smoothies than helping me with breakfast," he said as he smiled at me.

"Whatever," I said with a smile on my face as I made my way towards the fridge. "What do I put into the smoothies?" I asked as I glanced at all the ingredients I had in my fridge.

"Do you have berries?" He asked, and I just furrowed my eyebrows at him, causing him to chuckle. "Okay, berries," he said, and I just nodded my head.

I sighed as I grabbed the variety of berries I had before placing them on the kitchen island.

"Now what?" I asked as I glanced at all the berries before looking up at Luke.

"Get the blender," he instructed, and I just stared sheepishly at him. "You don't know what a blender is, do you?" He asked as he shook his head.

I could feel myself blush as he placed the contraption in front of me, motioning for me to continue.
Once all the ingredients were in the blender, I plugged it in.

"Wait, Em-" Luke said, but before he could continue, I pressed the on the button, and a loud shriek escaped my lips. "Press the button" Luke finished his sentence as I turned the thing off.

I looked down at my smoothie covered pajamas before looking up at Luke to see him included in the smoothie ingredients as well.

"I'm sorry," I said, breaking into a fit of laughter as I saw his shocked expression.

"You are so going to get it now," Luke said as he ran over to me and grabbed me by my waist.

"Oh, and what are you going to do?" I asked as I quirked an eyebrow at him.

I watched as an evil smirk formed on his face before his hand suddenly came in contact with my face. My mouth dropped open when I realized that Luke wiped flour onto my face.

"Oh, it's on."

"Look what you did to my kitchen," I accused Luke as I stared at the mess we made.

"Me? I'm pretty sure you were part of this as well," he stated, and I couldn't help but laugh as I watched the egg drip from his hair.

"You look awful," I stated, causing him to roll his eyes.

"Gee, thanks. You look pretty bad yourself," he said, and I couldn't help but laugh at this.

"Go take a shower, I'll take care of the mess," I said as I waved him off.

"I'll help," he stated, but I just shook my head.

"No, you go shower, then come back, and when I shower, you can continue cleaning up," I stated, and he just let out a sigh before walking upstairs.

I haven't realized how much I've missed him till now.
