Parents pt. 2

Emily's POV

"Look babe we're here!" I say as I grab Tobin's hand

"I'm scared" she says

"Toby is scared mommy!" Connor said laughing

"Don't laugh at me Connor it's scary" Tobin tells Connor

"No it's not Toby our family is nice I promise they won't scare you I'll protect you" Connor said and I smiled

"Thanks buddy" Tobin leaned down to kiss Connor's forehead

"Alright here we go" I say

The three of us walked to the house and I didn't even knock I just opened the door since this family of mine doesn't lock the doors since they all live around each other and it's all gated.

"Familia ya llegó la alegria!" I yell

"Emy!!" I hear someone shout and I hear footsteps

"My baby you're so big" I say as I hug my niece Nayeli

"Lily! Thank god you're here go tell tia Rosie she's never getting married because she's boring" my cousin Diana says

"Same old Diana I missed you so much and don't be so mean" I say as I set down Nayeli and she runs off with Connor

"Who's that?" Diana asks me and points to Tobin

"Diana this is my girlfriend Tobin and Tobin this is my cousin Diana"

"Nice to meet you" Tobin says and extends her arm

"Finally! Emily finally brings someone to the family" Diana says and hugs Tobin "FAMILIA EMILY BROUGHT A GIRL!"

"Diana! Don't yell it out! Tobin is meeting the family today and she's nervous" I say as I smack Diana's head

"So is it bad to bring up that not only our family from Portland but, Washington, Cali, Idaho are coming but also North Carolina, Georgia and even New Jersey is coming?" She whispers in my ear and I nod immediately

"Don't say shit or I'll go grab the chicken from the cage and let it loose and you know your dad will make you catch it" I tell Diana and she nods rapidly and leaves

"What was that about?" Tobin asks me

"Nothing lets go see my aunt Maria" I tell Tobin and she nods

We walk into the kitchen hand in hand and I see some of the family sitting eating bread with coffee

"I have someone I want you guys to meet" I say and everyone looks at me "this is my girlfriend Tobin"

"Hija de su chingada madre no mames hasta que por fin tienes novia no mames Emily te tardas un chignon"

"What did he say?" Tobin asks me

"He pretty much said for fucks sake about time you have a girlfriend Emily you take a shit ton of time"

"Thank you but who are you"

"I'm Roger Emily's cousin nice to finally meet the famous Tobin that Emily here has been telling me about" Rogers says and I laugh

"All good things I hope" Tobin says as she shakes his hand

"All good things but if you break her heart or hurt her or Connor I'm going to get you" Roger said as he glared at Tobin

"Rog don't scare her away! I will go call your wife to tell her you punched me and she'll be here in two seconds" I say

"Fine" he mumbled

"Come babe we're going to meet my parents" I say smiling as I grab her hand and drag her to the backyard
