Color

Emily's POV

"And you're sure about this?"

"Ali you've asked me about ten thousand times" I say

"We just want to know if you're sure" Alex says and I groan

"I'm sure now can you guys help me pick which one I should get and what color" I say as we enter the store

"The amount of guys here looking at you is unbelievable" Ali says and I laugh

"Ignore them and they're not just staring at me pretty sure they're staring at all of us now help me decide what to wear" I say as we walk around the store "Oh how about this one?"

"Purple really?" Alex says and I look at her "Nope not purple, Ali what color makes Tobin drool?"

"Red oh and navy blue I think" Ali says and I shrug

"I don't really notice" I say

"Maybe even black?" Alex says completely ignoring me. I swear I could say anything and they wouldn't know.

"Maybe but what about burgundy?"

"I'm gonna go get shot again" I say

"I th- what the hell Emily!" Alex says. Oops I guess they were listening

"Don't you dare say that!" Ali yells

"You guys weren't paying attention to me" I pout

"We're trying to get this right Em now stop saying stuff like that" Alex says and I nod

"I think lavender is an option too" Ali says "We need a color that will make Em's eyes pop out"

"Indeed we do maybe red? Navy blue? Burgundy? Maybe even a dark green? Or a pastel color so her skin glows" Alex says

"She's a little more darker than Tobin by a tiny bit maybe like Christen? Or even you Alex? Oh I don't know god damn it this is hard"

"I think we need to call some people for help"

"I think Kyle would want to help" Ali says and they pull me as they walk around

"This one!" They both yell and I gulp

"This one? Really? Don't you think it's a little too you know"

"Out there? Yes but she'll love it come on it's Tobin plus I mean it is her birthday gift" Alex says

"EARLY birthday gift" I say and they both playfully roll their eyes at me

"Yeah sure but come on"

"Are you sure she'll like this one?" I ask

"Tobin drools over that color trust me she'll love it" Alex says and I nod

Ali's POV

"Hey Kyle we need your help" I say

"With? I was in the middle of my exercise"

"Em is buying lingerie for a special night with Tobin and clearly we suck at this color thing"

"You should've started with helping Em now show me" Kyle says and I flip the screen

"What do you think?"

"That's a little out there" he says

"See! I told you!" Em yells

"But it's a good thing I definitely think Tobin will love it as for the color I think it works yeah her skin glows and her eyes pop"

"So that's the one right" Alex asks

"Yes that's the one" Kyle says

"Great! Thanks Kyle see you soon!"

"Bye guys! Oh and Em make sure you give Tobin a night she won't forget because with that damn that girl is going to lose it! Bye love you all!"

"So when will this happen?" I say motioning to the lingerie

"In a week before we leave for the game against South Africa" Em says

"Tobin doesn't know what's coming" Alex says and I nod

"Who's taking care of Connor?"

"D and his wife since they're actually home now and they have kids so Connor will have someone to play with"

"Well come on let's go home"

Tobin's POV

"I want mommy" Connor whines

"Me and you both bub" I say and he looks at me as he sits on Ash's lap

"Mama?"

"Yes?"

"Did you and mommy talk about my birthday present?" He asks me and my eyes widen

"Oh this'll be good" Kelley tells Ash and I glare at them both

"We did talk about it bub" I say and Kelley snickers

"And?" He asks as he crosses his arms giving me that look Em does when she wants an explanation, it's quite terrifying.

"I-uh I"

"We're home!"

"Baby!" I yell as I get up from the couch

"Hi babe"

"MOMMY!" Connor yells

"Hi baby how was time with mama and aunt Ash and Kelley?" Em asks Connor

"Great! But mama here never answered my question"

"Oh really? What did you ask mama?"

"I asked if you and mama talked about my birthday present and she said you guys did talk about it but then I asked what would happen and she didn't answer me"

"Oh she didn't answer you how about we make her sleep on the couch today and you sleep with me tonight?" Em says

"Yes let's make mama sleep on the couch!"

"Hey what? That's not fair Lee and bub really?"

"Yes really" he says

"Fine then no baby brother or sister" I say and he starts crying. Shit.

"Tobin!" Everyone yells

"You're definitely sleeping on the couch now" Kelley says and I sigh. Definitely sleeping on the couch, I won't be surprised if I have to sleep in the car.

"Baby don't cry come on let's go to bed" Lee says as she grabs Connor's hand.

"Bub I'm sorry" I say as I walk over to him

"Tobin not now later" Lee says and I nod

Emily's POV

"I didn't mean to" Tobin says

"I know but come on Tobin he was excited and you just stepped on his little heart" I say

"I'll apologize tomorrow"

"Yeah you better"

"On another note when are we going to be alone?" Tobin asks me as she pulls me into her

"Soon if you behave" I say

"Yes a thousand times yes if it means I'll have you all for myself"

"Oh babe you don't know what's in store for you when that day comes" I whisper

"Hey don't excite me Lee"

"Sorry but really you don't know now goodnight go sleep on the couch"

"Oh you were serious?" She asks me

"Yes very now go" I say and she goes to grab a pillow and a blanket

"Fine but can I at least get a kiss?" Tobin asks as she hold the pillow and the blanket

"Yes" I say as I peck her lips "Goodnight I love you"
