Hopeless

Tobin's POV

"You're all ready to go home! Congratulations to the both of you" The doctor says

"Thanks" I say and he leaves

"You didn't have to be so rude babe" Lee says and I clench my jaw

"He touched you when you were giving birth! Like all the way in there!"

"Oh I'm sorry did you want to do it?" She asks and my eyes widen

"No thanks" I say shaking my head

"It's his job Tobin" she says softly

"Have I told you that your green eyes kill me" I say as I walk over to her as I cup her face and kiss her

"Yes all the time" she says

"I love you now let's go home" I say and she nods

"Alright we're going home!" Connor yells

"We are baby and we get to take home your brothers with us" Lee says and I smile

I placed Mateo and Isaac in their car seat. As I buckled them and placed a small blanket on them and a small little hat on each of them since it's cold outside. Then I covered the whole thing with another blanket.

I'd say I'm scared but that's an understatement. I'm frightened. They're so tiny and their little hands, feet, nose, everything scares me. It's like I can break them and it scares me.

"Alright we're all set" I say as I put on my hoodie

"I have the bags so we can go" Christen says

"Alright let's go home then!" Lee says

"You need help walking?" Hope asks Lee

"I'm fine but thank you"

I picked up both of the carriers as I walked out the room. It all felt more real, we just had our twins and we're going home. As I carried Mateo's car seat in one hand and Isaac with the other. I really felt like this is the feeling I always wanted.

Emily's POV

"Home sweet home" I say as I enter the house

"Surprise!"

"OH MY what are you guys all doing here?"

"You guys are finally home! We wanted to celebrate" Kelley says and I shake my head

"You guys are unbelievable"

"Baby do you want me to go place them in their cribs?" Tobin asks and I smile as I see her carrying both carriers

"Are they awake?" I ask and she shrugs "Put them down I'll check"

Tobin placed them on the floor and I pulled their blankets over to see.

"Hi baby boys" I coo and their eyes just wander around looking everywhere "Let's get you out shall we?"

"I'll help you"

"Thank you Chris" I say and she smiles as she gets Mateo and I get Isaac

"I'm your aunt Christen and I love you so much" Chris says as she sways him softly

"And I'm your mom the one you hit in the face when you were in the womb although I'm not sure which one of you hit me so I'm going to say both of you did"
