"Come on Peter! I know you're faster than that!" I shouted above the high winds. I was propelling myself forward one step at a time with floating patches of loose soils under my feet.
"No fair, you got out first!" He was on my tail, swinging one strand after another after me on the sky scrapers of New York City.
"Did not, you've just lost your edge." I muttered out communications linked together now that I was a full force hero.
"Fine, race you to Stark Tower?" He asked, a bit of a giggle in his voice.
"But that's the other-"
"Too late!" I screeched to a halt, turning to see him nearly four miles ahead already.
"Not fair!" I shouted, weaving around the Daily Bugle and heading to Stark Industries across the way. "You sneaky spider I can't believe you!" I could see him now, perched on the building's side and waving at me jokingly. "Catch!" I shouted, before launching myself at him and luckily being caught.
We climbed up the buildings side until we sat on top of the building, looking out over the bay. "Do you think we should head back to the bus?" I whispered, my hand laced in his as we watched the sun glisten.
"Nah, we've got time." I turned, his mask pulled up over his head, my hood dissipating to reveal my own.
"So romantic up here." I muttered, arms wrapped around his shoulders, eyes trained on his lips.
"Indeed." We laced lips, the sun kissing my forehead and the wind blowing his loose curls onto my ears as his warm embrace enveloped me.
"Hey guys?" I pulled in a breath, placing a hand on my headpiece.
"What Ned?" I grumbled, Peter smiling at my frustration.
"There's an enormous alien ship attempting to destroy New York City."
My eyes went wide as Peter and I turned to the east, an enormous ring ship hovering over the building tops. "Huh." I stated, not expecting that to be his grief. "Well, I guess I'm an Avenger now."
