You and Shura had been running through the streets for quite some time now. You had been sent by Corrin to spy on a group of Brigands. However, none of you had known that there was a spy among your ranks, relaying information to the enemy.
So here you two were, on the run from some angry barbarians, with no way to contact your leader.
Lovely.
Townspeople watched the two of you run past, gasping when they saw your pursuers. The spectators, though many when the chase first started, dwindled as you ran through the less occupied streets, weaving through alleyways.
You turned to Shura, who's breathing was heavier than yours. His hand was pressed lightly to your wrist, leading you through the maze of the town you both were trapped in.
He surveyed the area in front of you both, looking for a way out. He could tell that neither of you could go for much longer.
He suddenly turned to you, a weary smirk on his face.
"Do you trust me?"
"Do I have a choice?!"
He grabbed your wrist, dragging you into the nearest alley. Pressing your back against the wall, his lips came into contact with yours.
He kept you like this for several minutes, you leaning closer each time. Finally, he pulled away, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Okay doll, the Brigands left. Let's get the information we DID get to our fearless leader. Got that (Name)?... (Name)?"
You glared at him slightly, tapping your foot.
"So you were just using that as a ploy? You push me against a wall, kiss me, and then-"
"Woah, doll, listen. If I hadn't wanted to do that, there's a safehouse right down the road that would've taken us right in. However, i think you liked my personal choice better. C'mon now, we don't want Lord Corrin to wait on our report, now do we?"
He left you a few feet behind him, blushing profusely at his obvious confession, before accompanying him to the castle, hand in hand.
