They parked the cars in front of Danny's house and got down. Wordlessly, they entered the house and took turns getting ready to sleep. After showering and changing, they brought out their sleeping bags and laid them on the floor in a circle, just like last time. After a few more minutes of silence, Ivy spoke first, "Okay Ri, what happened back there? And what were those things?" Danny answered after a few minutes of silence, "Those were the Savaro demons." Then she began to explain who they were and what they wanted. She told them what they did to her dad and how she sent a message to them the previous night so they could discuss. She hadn't expected them to answer, let alone come to Medusa's birthday so she apologized to Pegasus who merely shrugged. She then told them of the deal she struck with them that evening. "So that's it," she finished, "They just wanted their island back." "And you are capable of giving it to them?" Cali asked. Danny shrugged, "Not sure but I am the princess right? Besides I know Seconi, it's basically a wilderness. No one has lived there in years so it's overrun with plants. I'll just tell my dad what happened, I'm sure he'll understand." Skye winced, "How angry do you think he is with you?" Danny snorted, "On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say at least 11. But, hopefully, he'll understand when I explain what happened. Plus my mom'll be there and she isn't as upset."

"Well good luck with that," Marcie said, "Hopefully your dad isn't as pissed as you think." Danny smiled wryly then frowned as she remembered something. "That's not all though. They showed me something." "Oh?" Cali asked. "What did they show you?" Danny grimaced as she recalled the vision, "It's about Desdemona." Marcie frowned, "What did she do?" "She's working with Griselda now. She, Avril, Cherry and Kimmy. Courtney too, as we suspected. Courtney's the one who told them that we were going to Medusa's birthday. Apparently Artemis was blabbing about it throughout yesterday and she picked up the part that Pegasus invited us." Marcie went pale then red with fury and sat up, "That lying, backstabbing twat! How dare she?! That's beyond dishonorable, it's complete madness! If my dad finds out, he'll have her head on a pike! Hell, I'll have her head on a pike! And Avril? I don't even care about Desdemona and her idiot daughters, but Avril?! She's way better than this, or at least I thought she was." Marcie's anger had subsided and sadness had replaced it. Seren shifted to sit directly beside her and rested Marcie's head on her shoulder. She patted her head. "It's okay to cry you know," Seren murmured quietly. "Nobody's judging you." "I don't-I don't-" Marcie choked then burst into tears. Danny felt awful. Marcie was one of the strongest people she knew. Seeing her crying was upsetting and Danny found herself cursing Avril wherever she was. Hayden crawled and sat on Marcie's lap to comfort her. Marcie held him tight. The house was quiet except for Marcie's cries that soon turned to quiet sobs. Marcie sat up and cleaned her eyes. "I don't know why Avril's acting like this," she said, still sniffling, "But it doesn't matter. If she tries anything funny, I don't care who she is, I'll make her pay." Marcie had finished cleaning her face and Danny could see nothing but determination in her eyes. Avril should be careful, Danny thought. Marcie's out for blood. And she's going to damn well get it. "Wait," Arian said, "What if Avril's under a spell? Like what Desdemona did to Roman and Marcie thought he was just watching? Maybe Desdemona did something like that again, only to Avril this time." Marcie frowned in thought, "Maybe," then she shrugged, "I wouldn't know. But, until we have proof, let's not keep our guard down. My grandmother may still be evil so we have to be careful." They nodded and everyone kept quiet, each with their own thoughts.

"My dad invited you guys to dinner," Pegasus said quietly, "Friday night at his place by 7. He wants to be sure you guys are good enough for me. You guys coming?" Cali frowned, "Explain good enough." Pegasus rolled his eyes, "Remember how I said my family members don't like supernaturals cause they feel they're better?" They nodded. "Well," Pegasus continued, "my dad wants to make sure I'm not friends with a bunch of losers, so he's making sure you guys are 'worthy'." he air quoted. Arian rolled his eyes, "Dude, we're your best friends, we're not asking for your hand in marriage." They laughed. "Thanks Arian," Pegasus said, still laughing, "But don't worry, I don't plan on marrying you anyways. And it doesn't matter. We're still friends no matter what my dad says." Arian nodded, "Good. As long as your dad doesn't expect us to put a ring on it." They laughed again. "Okay seriously, we need to go to sleep. Good night guys." Ivy said and choruses of good night rang in the air before they slept.
