Danyall, Marceline and Thunder walked into their History class. At once, all eyes were on them. The classroom was in an amphitheatre style and reminded Danyall of a university lecture hall.
"Ms Williamson, Master Vaschenko," said the teacher, "is there a reason why both of you are late?" Danyall felt like a small child under the woman's scrutinizing gaze. Her straight, silver hair pulled into a tight bun and her coal black eyes didn't exactly give her a friendly appearance.
"We're sorry Ms G. We had to help the new student." replied Marcie. "And you are?" Ms Gunther asked Danny, one of her eye brows raised. "Danyall Adderley-Swan, ma'am." Ms Gunther took one more glance at them and said "You may go to your seats but be sure to come early next time. I do not tolerate lateness. Am I clear?" "Yes, miss." said Marceline.
"Ms Adderley-Swan?"
"Yes, miss." said Danyall. The trio immediately took their seats at the third row. Danyall noticed the three musketeers from earlier on the seats in front of them. "Sup newbie?" grinned the girl. "Not now, Ivy," hissed Marcie. They immediately looked forward and Danny couldn't help but wonder if the three of them were werewolves like Thunder, or something else entirely.

The bell for the last class before lunch break rang and Danny was already exhausted and craving her bed. So far, she had mastered the spell for invisibility, memorised the 15 uses of a thistle (other than to decorate your garden) and sat through an hour long history of some witch whose name she couldn't remember for the life of her. Surprisingly enough, it was rather interesting. Who knew thistles could be used to create a protective shield? Well at least now she did and, living in a magical town, it just might come handy.
"So, we need to figure out how you got here, but first, lunch. I am starved." said Marceline. "Yay! Lunch!" exclaimed Thunder excitedly. As they walked in the cafeteria, Danyall bumped into someone. What was with her and bumping into people today?
"I am so sorry." said Danny. "Of course you are." said the blonde girl as she rolled her eyes. Danny frowned. Huh? Just who did this bitch think she was? Artemis Zeus looked down at the dark haired girl, but she didn't have to look far because they were almost the same height; Artemis was only taller by a few inches. With her golden-blonde hair, clear light blue eyes and six feet something height, she was undoubtedly beautiful. Unfortunately, her beauty didn't make up for her sour attitude and she and her siblings always acted like they ruled the world. Being the children of Zeus, king of the gods, they technically did.
Danny raised her brows in shock. "Forgive me, your mortal highness." She rolled her eyes. Why did everyone in this school act like they were kings or something? They were just supernatural, nothing more. The blonde girl looked like she was about to explode when an identical looking boy walked up to them. "I got this one Artemis, you go chill." Artemis? As in goddess of hunt Artemis?! Now there were literal Greek gods in this school?
"Hey, name's Apollo. And that is my twin," he pointed to the blonde, "Artemis. You must be new to not have met us. That's okay, just don't make Artemis mad." Danyall raised her brows again. She seemed to be doing that a lot since she entered the school. They could be Zeus himself for all she cared, they will not treat her like trash. "Look Blondie, I get it you're gods or whatever but that means nothing to me. Now, if you would excuse me, I have a lunch to get to."
All this while, Marceline and Thunder hadn't spoken. Instead, they watched in partial shock and amusement as their new friend spoke nonchalantly to Apollo. 'The' Apollo. And they weren't the only ones. Elsewhere in the cafeteria, Ivy, Vlad and Arian watched the newbie. They were impressed. No one, not even newbies, spoke to Apollo like that. The girls were worst, most of them would rather sleep with him than trash talk him, yet this dark haired Danyall Adderley-Swan spoke to him like he were no one. This confirmed Ivy's earlier suspicions. Definitely not from around here.
