Poseidon's palace
Somewhere under the Aegean Sea
GreeceMedusa walked in with servants trailing behind her. She smiled as she saw Danny and her friends. "Aurianna, how are you?" she asked. Danny grinned, "I'm fine Medusa. Just great." Medusa sat at the last seat, opposite Seren and the servants placed the trays they were carrying on the table. They opened them and served the food for everybody. The food looked like brown pie and had white cubes beside it. They gave the vampires a glass of blood each to drink.
Danny picked her fork and started eating. A few minutes later, Poseidon asked, "So, Aurianna, how's your father? I haven't seen Raegan in years." Danny shrugged, "He's busy. He lives in the Dark Isles now, ruling and being king." Poseidon raised a brow, "And he left you here?" Danny nodded, "I have unfinished business to deal with. And I can take perfectly good care of myself." Poseidon nodded and remained silent. Danny noticed the red head looking at the vampires with disgust. She chuckled inwardly and thought, Going to make a comment in three, two, one... Then the red head said, "Don't you eat anything other than animal blood?" Just as she had predicted. This time, Danny did chuckle. Pegasus rolled his eyes, "Rhode, they're vampires. They don't eat. At all." So that was her name. Rhode. Would have been nice if she weren't so irritating. Rhode rolled her eyes, "How is it possible for a creature to eat only one type of food?" Before Pegasus could answer, Ivy interrupted, "Now, now don't get it mixed up. Of course we drink more than animal blood. We drink human blood too. We also drink golden blood." Ivy grinned and let her fangs show. Rhode physically gulped and Danny used all her self-control to not laugh.
Soon enough, everyone finished their appetizers and Medusa stood up to bring in the main course. But then Thunder started scratching.
It started small, his arm, his thigh and his face. Then his chest, his head and his legs. Jack, who was sitting beside him, raised a brow, "Dude, are you okay?" Thunder nodded as he kept scratching his arms, "I'm perfectly thine." The others turned to him. "Say that last part again Storm," Ivy said. "Thuys, I think there's sthomthing thong," Thunder said. Danny noticed his eyes turning more golden and less brown. His fingernails started growing and coal black hair started growing on his body. "Marcie," Jack said. "I'm on it," Marcie said and she summoned her staff. She murmured some words in Latin and the cube glowed a soft robin's-egg blue. Marcie rolled her eyes as she poofed away her staff and said, "Relax guys, it's the night of the full moon." The others sighed and ignored Thunder. Jack slapped the back of his head, "Warning next time. You frightened us half to death." Thunder kept scratching and rolled his eyes, "Thow wasth I sthoppost tho thoe?" His tongue grew longer and thicker. "You're supposed to know because it's literally part of you," Marcie said. She materialised a small pouch and opened it. She brought out two dark green leaves and materialised the pouch away.
Medusa entered with the servants and raised a brow as she saw Thunder. "Is he alright?" she asked. "Full moon night," Danny said. "Oh," Medusa said and smiled knowingly. She beckoned for the servants to serve the main and they started serving. This time the food looked like cabbage with rice. "Isn't anyone going to explain what's wrong with him?" Rhode nearly screamed. "He's turning into some beast!" "No, he's turning into a wolf," Marcie said and she raised her hand over the mug where she had put the leaves and water. "Tepesco," she said. "How can he be turning into a wolf? Is it a curse?" Amphitrite said, shock written all over her face. "He's a werewolf. It's their thing," Jack said as he ate his food. Danny nearly burst out laughing. Pegasus' family looked ready to split while she and her friends were hardly bothered. Marcie finished her spell and gave the mug to Thunder. "Drink it. All of it," she said. Thunder sniffed it before drinking it. He stopped midway and scrunched his nose, "It tastes tasteless." Ivy rolled her eyes, "Dude, no one wants to know what it tastes like. Just drink." Thunder finished everything and turned back to his normal self. Marcie took the mug, "You might want to eat up. You won't stay like this for long before your wolf comes back." Thunder wasted no time and immediately went back to his food. Danny held back her laughter and she heard Cali chuckle and Marcie snicker beside her.
