WisconsinDanny and Marcie's cars pulled up beside Thunder's car in WA's parking lot. Thunder and the vampires were already there, leaning on Thunder's car. Arian suddenly looked upwards, "Horse head coming in for a landing." Danny turned and frowned, "Is it just me or does Pegasus look tired?" Pegasus landed in front of them and nearly tripped while doing so. Jack got off in a hurry, "Okay dude, I've kept back my questions but now you have to talk. What's your problem? You've been acting off since morning and you didn't talk with anyone last night." Pegasus turned and took his bag from Jack. One look at his face confirmed Danny's earlier suspicion. He looked unnaturally pale and had eye bags. Pegasus yawned, "I'll answer your questions later. Can we go to class now?" Ivy opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of an engine. Artemis stepped out of a white Cadillac and was followed by Courtney. She smiled smugly at Pegasus, "Good morning cousin. Sleep well?" Pegasus rolled his eyes, "But of course Artemis." "Nice ride. Surprising how it's when Pegasus stops picking you up that you decide to come early to school." Ivy said dryly. Artemis gave her a pointed look and strutted into the school. Courtney followed behind her but stopped in front of Danny, "Good morning to you too Danyall." She gave Danny a knowing smile and went inside. Cali frowned, "I do not like this. She looks as if she knows something that we do not." They saw a Ferrari pulling into the parking lot. "It doesn't matter, we'll deal with Courtney later. Now let's go. I've already dealt with twin 1, I'm not ready to handle twin 2 and I'm pretty sure that's his car." Pegasus said and they walked into the school before Apollo could come out of his car.

Pegasus collected his lunch and went to his table. He dropped the tray on the table, sank into his seat beside Seren and rested his head on the table. "Pegasus? Everything okay?" Marcie asked and he raised his head and saw all his friends staring at him. He sighed, "I'm fine, just tired. My mom's birthday is tomorrow." "Yay!" Seren squealed. He gave her a pointed look. "Or no yay?" she asked confusedly. He shook his head, "It would have been yay, but Thanatos is throwing a surprise party for her." "What's wrong if he does?" Arian asked. "He invited everyone." Pegasus deadpanned, "And he and my grand uncle Pontus made everybody come, including my dad and my uncles. Normally I wouldn't have minded, but my dad and I aren't exactly on speaking terms and we all know my uncle Zeus will side him. Plus, I have to do all the planning cause my dad doesn't want to lift a finger."
"What's going on between you and your dad? I thought he didn't care." Marcie said. Pegasus took a sip out of his drink before replying, "He doesn't. He just doesn't like it that I'm friends with other supernaturals." They looked at him in shock and Marcie's mouth fell open. "What the fuck?" Arian said disbelievingly. "What's wrong if you're friends with supernaturals?" Pegasus chuckled, "You should have seen his face when I said I spent Wednesday night at Aurianna's place. I swear he nearly drowned me. For some good reason my family doesn't like witches or vampires or any other supernatural. They think they're so high and mighty, the others can go rot elsewhere. It's one of the reasons I don't get along with all my cousins, and my mom's kind of a loner. My dad's been trying to convince me that supernaturals are evil creatures but honestly it's quite amusing to see him all flustered. It also doesn't help that you're Raegan Westminster's daughter." Danny reeled back with this piece of information. What did supernaturals ever do to them? "Hang on," Ivy said. "Hating us, I can overlook. We are, technically, classified under monsters after all. But what did Raegan ever do to them? They haven't even met his daughter and they're already imagining her as some villain." Pegasus shrugged, "I really do not know. But I think he's afraid of Raegan." Danny raised a brow in disbelief. Pegasus grinned at her expression, "Never forget whose child you are. Your dad kinda has a rep, and not the good kind, even in Olympus. I'm pretty sure it's only Uncle Hades, that likes him. And maybe Persephone, Thanatos and his siblings and parents, but that's it."
