Mount Olympus
GreeceDanny laughed as Jack rolled his eyes. "Can we not retell my unfortunate dealings with Griselda?" Jack said drily. Griselda's antidote had luckily worked with no problems, so Jack was back on his feet, sarcastic as always. Only problem being Marcie found it hilarious now that Jack's life was no longer in danger, so she joked with it every moment she could. "I mean seriously dude, you're kind of adorable when you're sick," Marcie said. "Especially when Hayden would sit with you and cuddle you and all that. Really cute." Jack rolled his eyes again, "I think Marcie's drunk you guys." Marcie punched Jack, "I am not drunk. This is like, my third sangria, and that's it." Jack raised a brow, "You sure about that?" Marcie raised a brow back, "You really wanna know snowman?" "She's not drunk," Arian said and they laughed. "By the way, where is Hayden? I haven't seen the little guy in a while." Thunder asked. "He's back in England," Marcie said. Ivy raised a brow, "Why?" "Grandmother was acting weird," Marcie said. "She just wasn't herself. Hayden went back for support. She's doing a lot better now, but it'll take a while before she's the Avril we all know and love." They nodded and Danny felt bad for Avril. It'll definitely take a while to heal after being under some dumb pact for so long. A loud guffaw broke their sombre mood and they turned to see where it came from. "Who in the world laughs like that?" Cali asked. Pegasus rolled his eyes once he noticed the source, "Don't mind my father. Once he starts laughing like that, it means he's tipsy, almost flat out drunk. You'd think after centuries of drinking nectar he'd be made of stronger stuff."
Tonight, the gods had decided to throw their own Samhain party, but they all dressed casually. Although they weren't exactly invited, Pegasus insisted they come because he wasn't going to 'sit through another one of his family's dumb get-togethers.' Pegasus said, "Now that I think about it, we've been here long enough. Let's go tell my mom goodnight so we can get out of here." They agreed and went to look for Medusa. She and her sisters were amicably chatting with the children of Erebus. Pegasus hugged his mother, "We're leaving, we've had enough party to satisfy us." Medusa hugged him back, "No problem Pegasus. Have you spoken to your father?" Pegasus pulled away and raised a brow, "Please tell me this is your idea of a joke. I swear, I won't even get mad." Medusa smiled knowingly, "At least tell him goodnight." Pegasus rolled his eyes and turned to look for his father. No issue there, because Poseidon was heading their way. "Pegasus my boy," Poseidon said loudly and slapped Pegasus on his back. Pegasus winced. Poseidon was more drunk than he thought. "Hope you're enjoying your night," Poseidon said. "Yeah Dad, it's great," Pegasus said. "But we should really go now, it's getting late. We'll see you later." Poseidon nodded, "Of course, of course. Let's not keep you kids here for too long." This made Pegasus roll his eyes. He was over a thousand years old, who was Poseidon to call him a kid?
"Have you said goodnight to your mother?" Poseidon asked. Pegasus nodded and started turning to leave, "Yeah I've seen her, it's okay with her so goodnight." Either Poseidon didn't hear him, or he simply didn't care, because he ignored Pegasus. He turned to Medusa, "Medusa! Hope you're enjoying yourself. Pegasus said he wanted to leave." Medusa nodded, "I know Poseidon, he's spoken to me." Poseidon laughed again, "Oh Medusa, always so uptight. Maybe you need another good fuck like last time, this time maybe Pegasus will get a turn." Poseidon laughed again and all the gears in Danny's head stopped turning. The fuck did he just say?
"What did you say?" Pegasus narrowed his eyes at Poseidon. Oh shit, Danny thought. This is not going to end well. Poseidon's eyes widened, as if it was then he realised his blunder. They heard a soft sob and turned to see Medusa holding back tears. Pegasus turned to his father angrily, "You see what you did? You made her cry. You really don't know how to take care of someone else other than yourself do you? You and your equally stupid brother just think you can march into a place and everyone just bends to your will. You never even think about the consequences of your actions, you just do. And your useless piece of shit wife? She couldn't even keep a man in his place." The whole Olympus gasped. Danny's eyes widened. Pegasus had never directly insulted Poseidon before, so he was definitely angry now.
