October 18
Island of Seconi
Dark Isles

Danny, Raegan, Trinka and Trogan stood and watched as Seconi was cleared. The overgrown plants were removed and all forms of garbage was destroyed. "We've already cleared more than half of the island," Trogan said. "By tonight, the island should be ready and all the demons would have moved in." Danny frowned, "Don't they need houses?" Raegan chuckled, "They're inhumane Raven. They are perfectly comfortable living like this." "Indeed we are," a familiar voice said. They looked up to see the demons' leader, Khaya. He bowed low, "On behalf of the Savaro demons, I would personally like to thank you for your help. For a long time we have wanted our island, without all the extras, and now we have it. We hope we can once again be of service to the royal family." Danny smiled, "Of course Khaya. You can be Dad's other advisor and the third member of the Circle." Trogan raised a brow, "I'm not sure that is wise princess. Let's not forget he still harmed the king." Khaya smiled, somewhat smugly, "How else was I supposed to get your attention?" Trogan rolled his eyes and Raegan chuckled, "Stop fussing Trogan. Ravenna is right, Khaya can be useful, but he will see to other things." Khaya smirked, a gesture that came off as terrifying and creepy to Danny with his sharp teeth while Trogan just scowled. Trinka said nothing but stood and watched impassively. Raegan turned to his daughter, "Meanwhile, Raven, I need to speak with you." Danny nodded and Raegan led her aside. He took a deep breath, "Before anything, I want to say how proud I am of you. You took control of the situation, even though it was dangerous, and you acted like a true royal." Danny smiled. "Also," he continued, "I wanted to say I'm sorry. You wanted to help and I shut you out. I know this doesn't explain things but...but," he sighed, "but after Griselda, I felt terrible that for all my name and power, I couldn't protect my wife and daughter. Now that you're here, I just don't want to loose you again. But I can't hide you forever. You aren't a child anymore and, someday, you'll be the Lady of Darkness. So I'll try not to choke you anymore, okay?" Danny nearly laughed. Her dad looked so uncomfortable having this discussion that it was almost too amusing. But she understood. He was just worried and, especially after what one of his closest friend put him through, a part of her got that.

She hugged him, "It's okay Dad. I know how you must have felt about losing to Griselda and finding out your daughter got adopted by someone else." Raegan growled. Danny giggled. Apparently Lawrence was still a touchy subject. She continued, "But that's completely understandable. And I promise, next time I'll try to stay out of it if it gets too dangerous. I'm not losing you too." Raegan picked up his daughter and spun her around. He placed her down and kissed her forehead. "That's my little monster," he said happily. "I love you." She giggled again, "You too Daddy." She pulled back, "Dad, can I go?" He frowned, "What's wrong monster?" "I need to ask Mom something," she said. Raegan crossed his arms, "And you can't ask me?" She raised her brows, "Dad, it's girl stuff. Unless you want to hear about-" "Your mother's in the library. I'll handle the island." Her dad said quickly. Danny laughed. Raegan scowled, "Very funny. Just leave, but make sure you call before you go back to Willowbrook." She chuckled but nodded. "Exiron," she called and her friend came flying over. She immediately got on and she told him to fly her to the castle.

"Welcome, your grace," the guards greeted her in the Olden Tongue as Exiron landed in the courtyard. Titles were one thing she would never get used to, but everybody called her that no matter what she said. The only ones who called her princess were Trogan and Khaya, but they were high rankers so it didn't count. She hadn't exactly spoken with Trinka and something told Danny that Trinka was intentionally avoiding her. Not that Danny was bothered. She had more important things in mind than a pixie-like shadow beast, one of them being a certain snow personification. She quickly found the library and followed her mother's scent. She was sitting on a chaise lounge, reading a book. Eulalie looked up as she felt a presence and smiled, "Anna sweetie, what is it? Is Seconi cleared already?" Danny shook her head, "Almost but not completely. I came back to ask you something." Eulalie placed her book down and sat up. She frowned, "What's wrong princess?" Danny sat beside her mother and sighed, "It's Jack. He did something." Then she told her about Jack's plan and how he started getting close to Courtney. She also told her about Jack's slip up. "So that's it," Danny finished. "And now, we don't know what to do. I know Jack didn't mean it, but he sort of messed up and now it's weird between all of us and I don't know what to do." It had been a messy week for Danny and her friends. Without their trump card, they weren't sure what to do. Plus, it had been salty between Jack and the others, especially Marcie, because they were hurt that Jack had no problem spilling their secrets.
