The sound of Laila's alarm goes off for her first day of grade 11 back at Rock-way High after summer break. In Laila's mind this is just going to be another boring year of high school. Same people, same teachers, same everything. She loved her town but it was boring. Nothing happened. Or at least that's what she thought.

Fuckkkkkk back to school already nonononono not another year of boring bull shit I'm not doing this.
Don't get me wrong I love learning and everything I just hate getting up early. I also hate the majority of the students at my school. I've spent like 17 years of my life with most of them. To me that's 17 years too many.
"Wake up Laila stop being so dramatic" Rachel yells, throwing pillows at my head from my door way.
"Oh my god Rachel" I yell,,see not a morning person "What have I told you about waking me up in the mornings I'll get up on my own"
"Mhm looks like that is working well, anyways it's 8:00am just thought you should know toodles" she skips off
ITS 8:00AM?!??? Fuck im gonna be late. I quickly rush out of bed stumbling over my own feet and sprint to the bathroom.
"Caleb move" I say shoving him out of my way
I brush my teeth, pee then sprint right back to my room to start getting dressed.
I have two options. Dress slightly presentable or sweats,,,meh I'll wear something slightly nice today. I already know it'll be sweats for the rest of the year so might as well try for one day.
