I'm home, I told Billie to just drop me off at home rather than at school because I just don't feel like going anymore. I'm still thinking about what just happened. I know I shouldn't think to much of it because I'm just another one of the girls she's trying to get with but I feel different around Billie, I look at her a different way than I've ever looked at anyone. It's confusing.

"I'll try again and see if she's awake, she wasn't feeling good so she went to sleep, Ill
be right back!!"

I wake up to the sound of my mom talking to someone, it's probably just my dad but I don't think she would use that tone with my dad though. I don't know I over think everything.

"Sweetie, are you awake?" My mom asks

I have two options here, pretend I'm still asleep or let my curiosity take over and tell her I'm awake.

"Yes mom, you can come in" My curiosity couldn't handle not knowing who my mom was talking to..so option number two it was

"The lovely new neighbours came over to say hi, they have a daughter around your age so get up. I'll send her daughter up here..she seems weird like she might not have many friends. Be nice" My mom than exits my room immediately putting on her fake nice voice and a smile

"Just go up the stairs, down the hall and third door to the right, have fun" she says

I quickly make my bed and that's all the time I have before I hear a knock at my door

"Come in!!" I shout

Oh fuck..I forgot she was the new neighbour

I awkwardly smile "Oh hey Billie"

"Your room is dope as fuck, I fuck with the vibe you got going on" she says while walking around my room looking at every little thing. Paying so close attention to every little detail, I've noticed she's really observant with everything.

I break the awkward silence "do you want to do something...or are you just going to look around my room"

Her eyes widen "well.." she so very slowly moves her thumb across her bottom lip "what do you have in mind mama"

All I have to say is butterflies, b u t t e r f l i e s

"uno" I blurt out..I- uno Laila are you stupid, did I really just say uno???

She looks disappointed "Uno ain't gonna work with just two people sorry, wanna watch netflix instead"

"Yeah sure what do you want to watch?"

We scroll through netflix before finally settling on a horror movie.

To be honest when my mom said we were going to see the new neighbours I immediately said fuck no, but then I remembered the new neighbour was Laila. Although I think she's weird, Im not one too judge, also girls got mad looks, yeah I want to get to know her and shit but like them titties though. I don't do relationships so I'm not tryna get attached, it would just be a quick fuck.
