"Billie Eilish is honestly the most hard working and successful teenager I know." Sam said as he was channel surfing.
The avengers had all come back to living in luxury (thanks to Tony.)
Everybody looked at Sam. They had been in a comfortable silence when Sam broke it with his Billie Eilish statement.
"Well, I can lift more than 50 tons and I stop muggers and rhinos and lizards and octpuses and I'm Spider-Man." Peter said feeling slightly offended.
"All good points, Peter, but can you pay your parents' bills?" Steve asked.
Peter starred at Steve for a few moments before blankly saying, "Nope—"
"Exactly, but Billie Eilish can." Sam said.
"Because I don't have parents." Peter finished.
The avengers (Tony wasn't there) looked at Peter. They were all confused. Wasn't Tony Peter's dad?
"Isn't Tony your dad?" Clint asked.
"Mr. Stark? What? No..." Peter trailed off with an awkward chuckle. "My parents are dead so I can't pay for their bills. Ha! Take that Billie!"
A/N: honestly I'm high on coffee right now and the last thing I posted was really depressing.
