Saying Peter was angry was an understatement.
He glared at the team. They looked sheepish of course as Peter stared the adults down. "Let's talk this out, Peter," Steve suggested.
"FOUR!" Peter shouted, holding up four fingers, "FOUR MONTHS!"
"Pete--" Natasha tried.
"FOUR MONTHS! YOU GUYS WATCHED ME FOR FOUR MONTHS AND NOBODY SAID A THING!" Peter could feel his face heating up.
Bucky put his hands up in the universal sign for surrender. "Kiddo--"
"YOU JERKS WATCHED ME WATER A PLASTIC PLANT FOR FOUR MONTHS AND NOBODY THOUGHT TO TELL ME IT WAS FAKE!?" Peter growled, "Let's not tell Peter he's been wasting his time watering a fake plant just to make him look like an idiot! IS THAT WHAT YOU JERKS THOUGHT?"
"To be fair..." Sam trailed off.
Tony interuppted, "But you were so adorable watering it,"
"THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE, MISTER STARK!"
