Domestic Avengers!

Somehow I Forgot That It Could End Like This...

"Hey Mr. Stark..." Peter mumbled walking up to his mentor. It'd been a while since Peter had seen his mentor/father figure.

"Sorry for not visiting earlier..." Peter said. Peter remembered being six years old standing in front of his parents saying the same thing.

"I guess I just needed time..." Peter muttered bitterly. He remembered being 14 having the same talk with Uncle Ben... that was a depressing day.

"Somehow I forgot it could end like this..." Peter mumbled squatting down and touching the grave stone... he'd done this before, with his parents, with his Uncle Ben... and now with Mr. Stark...

Why did it always happen to him? He'd just become truly happy after Uncle Ben's passing... and now it was all ripped away... why couldn't he have one father figure not taken away?

"Anyway, Mr. Stark, I have something to tell you!" Peter smiled sadly, "my school is going on a trip to Europe... and I'm going to ask out MJ." Peter took a deep breath.

"I told you about her, remember?" Peter asked the headstone. "She's real pretty and real weird, but that's what I like about her... I think you called her Scary-Girl? Or something like that..."

"Also, Morgan is doing good!" Peter grinned and sat down in front of the headstone, "she says she wants to be just like daddy! It's really cute..."

"You know Mr. Stark... the other day, while I was babysitting Morgan for Mrs. Stark, Morgan called me her big brother..." Peter said, "is that a good thing?"

Peter shook his head, "I hope it is... anyway, I have to go Mr. Stark... I'll be back to visit soon."

Peter turned around and walked out of the graveyard. 

Tony looked at the retreating back of the boy he saw as a son. He really missed the kid. And he was mad at himself for making the kid relive all those horrible memories.

He also missed Morgan. His baby girl. He was glad Peter was taking care of her. He was even happier to hear that Morgan thought of Peter as an older brother!

He was also impressed that Peter managed to get Scary-girl to out with him. And if she made him happy then Tony was fine with it.

Tony also missed Pepper, she had been the love of his life. He was glad that Pepper let Peter be close to Morgan... Tony signed he'd see them all again someday.

But he better not see Peter soon. If he saw Peter up there with him, he would kick the kid's ass.

Okay that was the end. I'm gonna cry a bit now.
