Company wasn't bad. Company coming in and making a bunch of noise was. It was so much worse when you were asleep at the time too. It started out with a few hushed voices pulling you out of your deep sleep followed by the sound of someone tripping and an entire medicine cabinet falling over.

You shot upright, clutching the bed sheets around you and glaring at the group of people in the room. Some offered a few sheepish smiles while the rest looked upon the new mess with a mix of horror  and panic.

"She's still sleeping guys!" Bepo ran into the room moments too late.

"Not anymore I'm not."

"They all wanted to meet you miss!" Penguin said.

"That's fine and all, but I would've preferred if you knocked or I dunno, waited until I was awake instead of creeping up on me."

"Captain's going to be mad about this...." Bepo eyed the mess. Bottles were shattered and glass covered the floor. Different pills, liquids, and ointments were strewn about, some equipment and gauze were laid out among the mix.

"Mad about the entire crew dropping their work to come into my infirmary and ruin half my supplies? Very."

It got quiet enough to hear a pin drop as the crew noticed their captain standing in the doorway. He was leaning against it casually but he looked less than pleased.

"Clean this mess up and get back to work, every single one of you will be scrubbing this ship top to bottom as punishment." He snapped at them before glancing at you. "You stay put, I'll be back when they're done."

"Sure thing." You trailed off as he sped away, fuming.

The crew shuffled about awkwardly, a few letting out groans of disappointment.

"Is there something we can call you besides miss?" Penguin's friend asked as he swept up some glass.

"I haven't thought about it but let me get back to you on that later. Law said he may know something about me so he might have my name."

The man let out a dramatic gasp. "Are you on a first name basis with the captain?"

"He said I could call him captain or Trafalgar. I don't want to call him captain and Trafalgar is too long."

"So you're ignoring his orders?"

"Kinda? Does he care that much about it though?"

"No one's ever tested him on that so I'm not sure."

"Well there's a first time for everything." You propped your arm up on your knee and rested your chin on your hand.

"Speaking of names, I'm Shachi."

The rest of the crew was apparently listening in and soon everyone started spouting their names at you, cheerily going through introductions. Most of them were just as good natured as Shachi and Penguin. The biggest man of the crew, Jean Bart, was intimidating to say the least, but was surprisingly personable. They were all nice enough that you could see yourself making friends with them.

By the time everyone had a turn to say something to you the room was back in order. The cabinet had been shoved back up against the wall, looking pitiful with all it's glass panes busted and shelves dented. There wasn't a speck of glass left on the floor, Bepo had mentioned not wanting you to get any stuck in your feet since you didn't have a pair of shoes yet. Not like you were supposed to walk around much yet anyway.

They all filed out of the room, moping now that they'd have to spend who knows how long cleaning the entire submarine. As sweet as it was that they all came to see you at once, they could have picked a better time to do it and the whole mess could've been avoided.
