"Big sis (N/n)!" A boy with snow white hair slammed open the front door of a quaint little house and leapt into your arms. "I missed you!"
You laughed, hugging him tightly, shuffling the bag on your back around to better balance yourself. "I missed you too Leo. How've things been, have you kept an eye on Atticus for me?"
"Yep! He's stayed out of trouble." He chirped, wiggling out of your grasp so he could lead you in by the hand.
"That's a little backwards, isn't it?" The man himself stood in the doorway, his long brown hair tucked back into his signature ponytail and his smile bright enough to light up the darkest of rooms. "Making the boy look after me that is. I thought I was the one in charge here."
"As if Addi." You gave him a playful push as Leo led you past him. "If it wasn't for us you'd forget to eat and starve to death. And don't even get me started on finances."
"Ouch, that hurts (Y/n)." He chuckled and followed you in.
"But you don't deny it." Leo said, taking a seat in the small dining room.
"That's because she's right unfortunately. Self preservation isn't my strong suit."
"Among other things." You tossed the heavy bag onto the dining room table. It hit the table with a loud thud as a few berries slipped out of it.
"So the job went well from the looks of it." Atticus opened the bag and let more money spill out of it.
"You bet it did." You smiled proudly. "It was easy and the client payed real well. We should be set for the next few months at least."
"You're getting pretty good at this big sis." Leo poked through the bag a bit, not really interested in the money itself, more the sheer amount you'd gotten.
"That being said," Atticus chimed in. "You oughta lay low for a bit. We don't want any Marines catching on, yeah?"
"Don't worry, they won't. I've been careful and I plan to keep it that way." You stood behind Leo and ruffled his hair, making him giggle. "I've got everything under control."
That was a welcome change of pace. Out of all your memories you'd gotten so far, this one was the best. It was very tame, no abuse or anything graphic. It felt like a normal memory. You stretched in bed with a smile on your face, turning over to see Law watching you with a similar expression decorating his face.
It had been a few days since dealing with the Kid pirates and you found yourself in Law's bed most of the past few nights. What could you say, you liked his company. The crew wasn't as happy about it, realizing a little too late that you two getting together would lead to some noisy nights. The touch you'd learned to hate from the Celestial Dragons you'd started to crave from the captain. He took such good care of you that it was hard not to like. While he could be teasing, he made sure your needs were always met before his own.
"Good dream?" Law purred as he tugged you into him.
"Maybe I just slept nice." You ran a hand through his hair and nuzzled into his tattooed chest.
"Mmm, I'm going to say it was more than that. You were smiling in your sleep, it had to be a dream." He stretched as well and then ran his fingers up and down your back lazily, not minding the brand that marred your skin.
"Alright, it was." You continued to smile against his warm skin. "It was about these two." You tapped a finger to the locket. It was a bit silly, but even when you were naked at times like this you still wouldn't take it off.
