Sorry for taking ages to update this! I fell out of a Law mood and didn't want to do any half assed writing. On the plus side I went though the chapters and fixed any spelling mistakes and such I could find and refreshed myself on the story and this will be updated regularly every Thursday from now on.

It took a solid week to hear back from the Marines. In that time the Polar Tang stayed surfaced, awaiting the news. The message arrived as a neatly written letter carried to the ship by a bird, bringing the good news everyone wanted. The crew wasted no time throwing another party, excited that the plan was going smoothly and the Marines would no longer pose a threat with Law now holding the title of Shichibukai. It also meant both yours and his bounties were considered null until the day he no longer held the title or you left his crew. The title came with a slew of perks that made his pirating technically legal along with everything else both you and him wanted to do.

It took a couple more weeks to travel to Impel Down and the growing mix of excitement and nervousness built in you with each passing day. You knew you were going to find most, if not all the answers you needed.

Getting to the prison itself proved to be doable as Law had said it was, but a hassle. The ship had to make a stop at Marine Headquarters after he had talked the Marines into letting him and you have access to meet with Atticus. From there you had to board one of their ships and use an ocean current only accessable to them to actually reach your destination from there.

While you had thought about seeing if you could get Atticus out, the thought was quickly erased from your head when you noticed the level of security used to get there. You tried bringing it up casually with the highest ranking official on the ship but they refused to humor you with seeing if it was possible. Shichibukai or not, they still didn't like Law and they hardly tolerated you.

Once you reached the prison, all thoughts of getting him out were completely snuffed. Even if you were to try and go behind the Marines to do it, it would have been impossible. The place was heavily guarded and apparently it had gotten so uptight with security recently because of an incident involving the prisons first, and so far, only escape. It involved one of Law's fellow worst generation pirates and it was done at a large enough scale that the prison had gone through quite some work to make sure it wouldn't happen again.

At least you'd get to talk to him. You'd fill him in on what had been happening since you'd lost your memories and see what he knew about your past with him. Hopefully it'd fill in a lot of gaps or at least answer some questions that plagued you.

When you were escorted in, a woman who introduced herself as Domino gave you both a pat down. You wanted to say it was quick but it was far from it. She was thorough in her search for anything questionable on either of you and it left you feeling a little awkward. She kept it strictly professional, but you still didn't like watching her pat down Law. He gave you a mischievous smirk when she was working on his legs, sensing your annoyance at it. Of course he was going to tease you about this.

Then you met with the chief warden, Hannyabal. He seemed entirely too jovial for the job he worked and you weren't impressed with his appearance. He towered over you and Law, with a huge gut that stuck out pretty far. His uniform couldn't do much to try and hide it.

When he saw you, he lit up even more and focused his attention completely on you as he escorted both you and Law through the prison. You didn't like the attention and your lover liked it even less. It seemed both of you could get a little jealous.

"So exactly how far down is Atticus?" You asked when he led you through the fourth level. The place was huge and very complex. It amazed you that someone was actually able to escape this place.
