My Definition of a Bad Idea

"Tell me again why this is supposed to be a good idea?" You paced around in the dining room, the crew watching you go back and forth nervously.

"Because it will help us accomplish both of our goals." Law said like what he suggested wasn't absolutely insane.

"No, that first part isn't my problem." You shook your head and stopped in front of him with your hands on your hips. "My problem is you suggesting we let you run off by yourself for who knows how long so you can work your way into killing this Doflamingo guy!"

It was the day after the crew had stocked up on the island and found the info on Atticus and Law had just gotten through going over his plans with everyone, starting with the plan to get him the title of shichibukai and then getting you to Impel Down to meet Atticus. With the title he'd be able to walk you straight in without a fuss. That part was all fine to you, it was minimal risk and high reward. It was a plan you liked. The issue was afterwards he wanted to use the title to help ruin Doflamingo's business and then get close enough to kill him.

The problem with that was the man himself was a shichibukai. Law thought he could make him lose the title and leave him open to be slaughtered by those he does business with, but doing so would mean risking his own life. The worst part was he wanted to do everything alone. Law had become very important to you and you weren't willing to risk losing him. Sure it was selfish, but you didn't care when it was a literal life or death situation.

"He needs to die."

"Sure, okay, that's all well and good. But you should, I dunno, maybe take people with you? If he's this big shot macho man like you suggest, you're going to need help."

"Don't say it (Y/n)-ya....." Law's eyes darkened as he prepared for what he knew would come next.

"No, you need help and that's that. I'm sure I can do something."

"No." He said it like a command, like that was all you'd need to hear to change your mind.

"Don't you "no" me mister. I'm not playing this game." The crew nearest to you and Law gimanced and scooted away in their seats, not wanting to get caught up in the argument.

"This will be dangerous. You can stay with the rest of the crew on Zou until I'm finished."

"That's all the more reason to have someone help you! Because it's dangerous! It'll give you higher odds of success and I'll sleep better at night knowing you won't die."

"I'm flattered that you care so much. This is a personal issue though, let me handle it." Lover or not, he wasn't going easy with you on this one and you could tell he wasn't going to give in.

"I've been very open about my personal issues with you. I wish you'd do the same but I guess that's too much to ask." You snapped and stormed out of the room, leaving Law to stew in his own frustrations.

You wanted some alone time and heading to your room wouldn't accomplish that. Law would find you there eventually and try talking you down, which is exactly what you didn't want right now. So instead you headed further below deck. There was a spot in between some of the machinery that was difficult to get to and even harder to find. You'd found it during an intense game of hide and seek with the crew forever ago and no one else except maybe Ikkaku could get to it.

Law stayed in the dining room so he never saw where you were going. You were glad about that as you got to your hiding spot, squeezing through some of the heavy machinery until you got to where you wanted to be. There was a thick piece of metal that jutted out a bit from the wall above your head that you could climb. It worked great as a perch and was out of sight. Once up on it, you settled with a huff, content to think things over angrily until you decided to cool down.
