I'm woken up by my girl stirring on top of me. Somehow during the night she ended up on my chest, with her leg thrown over mine and her arm across my stomach. Someone's a cuddler."Good morning." I grin at my girl, getting a small smile in response.
"Morning." She greets back, moving away before she gets up from the bed. I catch her wince as she stands up with the blanket wrapped tightly around her.
I quickly jump off the bed and rush to her, picking her up and sitting on the edge of the bed with her in my lap. Cupping her face, I look into her eyes. "What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" I ask worriedly.
"No, no. It's just... - she her cheeks turn red as she pauses – I'm just sore." She admits quietly, avoiding my gaze. I sigh, gently directing her head to rest against my chest.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I expected this to happen. It was... - she hesitates - it was my first time." I kiss her head.
"I know." She gasps and leans back, staring at me with wide eyes.
"H-how?" She breathes out, slightly trembling in my arms as delicious blush spreads over her face.
"Did you really think I wouldn't notice? – I stroke her cheek with my thumb, smiling lovingly at her – I love that I was your first. And now that you're mine, I'll be your last." I seal my promise with a kiss, which earns me an embarrassed squeak-like sound from my treasure as she tries to avoid my lips.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet!" She whines.
"I don't care."
"Can you let me go now? I-I need to use the bathroom."
"Not a chance." I stand up, with Michelle still in my arms. She clutches onto my neck, afraid of getting dropped. As if I would ever do that.
"Holler when you're done, so I can get your bath ready. It should help with the soreness."
"Why would I tell you when I need to take a bath?" She tilts her head in confusion.
"So we can take it together." I whisper hotly into her ear, setting her in the bathroom.
Few minutes later Michelle peeks through the door. "I don't have clothes." She quietly whines, but I only give her a lop-sided grin and wordlessly prowl towards her.
One long hot bath later we finally decide to walk downstairs for breakfast. I would bring it to bed for her, but since we're both awake, there's no need to.
The common room is mostly empty, since the guys are working, except for Lia, Blake, Cole, Kian and few whores. I'm guessing Finn is working with Key, since he's not here.
Lia notices us first, giving us a sly grin, as if she knew what happened last night. She's almost healed, the only things left are the cast on her leg and the brace on her arm, but it still doesn't stop her from occasional angry outbursts when she can't do something. Blake must be used to her mood swings, never losing his temper around her, simply calming her down. Thank god she's in a good mood today.
"Well, well, well. Look who graced us with their presence. Mr. and Mrs. Matthews." She teases, making Michelle move behind me and bury her face in my shirt.
"Lia!" She whines.
"What? Am I wrong?"
"No, you're not." I affirm with a smirk.
"John?" Michelle whispers from behind me, moving slightly to my side.
"What? You're my Old Lady." I shrug.
"But I'm not your wife." She mumbles, but I still catch it.
"Old Lady means a lot more than a wife, it's an unbreakable bond. We take it extremely seriously." I tell her, pulling her onto my lap after I take a seat at the table across from Lia and Blake.
"I already explained it to you, Squirrel. I told you to think about whether you're ready for that kind of commitment because it really means a lot to those guys." Lia leans her elbows on the table and gives Michelle a stern look.
"I know. But you just called me- you called me Mrs. Matthews in front of everyone." Michelle whines, glancing around the room nervously.
"What everyone? – Lia scoffs – There's only us and those whores back there." Lia says then, as if a sudden realization hit her, she looks around the room with a hard look. I follow her movement, catching few nasty glares directed Michelle's way from the whores before they turn away once they catch my eyes.
"It's about the whores, isn't it?" I sigh. I've heard about this before, but I openly claimed Michelle as mine, so I thought it would be settled by now.
"I think they still hope you'll change your mind. Goldie has neither the cut nor the tattoo, so not everyone takes your claim seriously." Lia quietly tells me, glancing at Michelle worriedly.
Shit, she might be right. It's been over a month already, but my girl still has no way to prove her position in the club. It's been hectic with this Ranger guy, so I didn't push her. She's been really stressed lately.
"Michelle told me she's scared of needles, so I didn't push her about the tatt."
"You know how I get when I see a needle." My girl hides her face in her hands, embarrassed.
Lia sighs, seemingly deep in thought. "How about I go with you?"
"Where?"
"To get the tattoo." I scrunch my brows in confusion. What is she talking about?
"You'd do that?!" Michelle grasps Lia's hands, looking like a child on Christmas.
"I was going to talk to Ink about a new tattoo anyway. I could stay with you while you get yours, it's not a big deal." Lia shrugs, but I can see how much her casual suggestion means to my girl. If she wanted, I would go with her to get her tattoo, but it's sort of a tradition in our club that the guys don't go with the women when they get their property tattoos, only seeing it when it's finished.
"You're amazing! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Michelle bounces on my thigh in happiness. I leave a kiss on her head, loving seeing her like this.
"You're adorable." Lia smiles adoringly at my girl. I know she's been worried about her, especially after Michelle withdrew herself from everyone.
I decide it's time to finally feed my girl, so I beckon at the prospect to make us breakfast.
After we've both eaten, I head to my office. It's time to get back to work. Michelle decided to join me, even after I warned her she would be bored. She's doing something on her laptop, while I go through the paperwork and phone calls.
I lean back in my chair, cracking my neck, trying to ease the tension in my muscles. I'll never be able to get used to sitting in front of a desk for hours. I'm a soldier and a biker, not an office worker, so sitting still for hours is irritating, to say the least.
A pair of small hands starts massaging my shoulders, making me groan in pleasure as my muscles relax under the gentle touch.
"You look stressed."
"That's because I am. There's so much to do, but I hate sitting in the office." I admit.
"Bid bad biker doesn't like paperwork. Shocking." Michelle teases sarcastically, pressing her fingers hard into my neck.
"I hate it. But it has to be done." I shrug.
A knock on the door stops me from saying more. I call out for the person outside to come in and I'm greeted by Finn and Key. Those two hit it off really well, they're always hidden in Key's cave.
"We need to talk to you."
