I'm not surprised at the sight of Lorenzo, but what I'm surprised at is the smile on his face. I've never seen him smile.

"Why don't we go to my office? We still have time before your first fight, your opponent is not here yet." With that he walks away, with me and Blake following. I told Blake about my plans, so he knows what I'm going to do.

"I have to say, it's a pleasure to see you again. I hope you're well." Lorenzo says once we're all seated in his office. I cross my legs as I lean back in the armchair, listening closely to what he has to say.

"Thank you. Now why don't we cut to the chase? I know you're stalling." I smirk under my mask at the surprised look on his face before it quickly disappears.

"Okay... I asked Tank to speak to you, but I'm guessing he didn't... - Lorenzo sighs – I need something from you."

"I guessed as much."

"What do you need?" Blake questions from his seat next to me.

"Someone is trying to open a new fighting ring nearby."

"And what does it have to do with me?"

"If you start fighting there, most of your fans, and my clients, will follow you and my business will suffer. I don't want that." I smirk under my mask, getting what he means.

"You want me to fight exclusively here." I state.

"Yes."

"No problem. I wasn't going to look for any new places, especially ones without an esteemed reputation. I worked too hard to be where I am. I'm not going to leave that to go to a place that I know nothing of." I shrug, getting a relieved sigh in response.

"I'm glad to hear it."

I hesitate for a moment, before unzipping the mask behind my head and taking it off my face. Blake says nothing, just smiles at me when I glance at him, wordlessly asking for reassurance. I put the mask on my legs then raise my head to let Lorenzo see my face. He doesn't hide his shock, but then he leans back with an impressed look, staring at my face intently.

"I did not expect you to do that."

"Of course, no pictures, no name and no telling anyone about me. I got to know you enough to say that you're an honorable man and you're worthy of seeing my face. I earned a lot of money at your club."

"And I earned a lot thanks to you. But what made you decide to reveal your face to me? I appreciate it, but I would like to hear the reason." Lorenzo sips on his whiskey, waiting for my answer.

"I won't tell you. I thought about whether to trust you on this, but I figured that if there was anyone trustworthy here, it would be you."

"I'm honored. – he smiles – I have to say, you're fucking gorgeous." He flirts with a wink.

"Fuck off." Blake sneers, grabbing my hand possessively, locking our fingers.

"Thank you. But don't get any ideas, I'm engaged. I revealed my face to you as a token of appreciation for your help and maybe a sign of friendship after those two years I've known you for."

"Damn it, and here I thought I had a chance with you." Lorenzo sighs in mock disappointment.

"No, you don't." Blake huffs.

"Congratulations about your engagement." Lorenzo adds, smirking at Blake's possessive hold of my hand.

"Thanks." I ignore Blake's pissy mood. "Now if you'll excuse me – I put my mask back on – I have fights to win." I get up from the armchair and reach out my hand to him, which he shakes firmly with a small smile on his face.
