Winter - Chapter 15

Angel's POV

"How are you doing being the CEO of Royal Duke Enterprise?" I asked Nigel over the phone. "I'm still adjusting tho. But I'm good since Moon is here." he answered.

"That's good to know then." I grinned. "Just continue protecting ninang Brittney. I still need to take care of the kids." I added.

"Why don't you hire a nanny for them?" he asked on the other line. "Not for now, Nigel. Wala pang kamuwang-muwang yung triplets na isang bilyonarya ang ate nila." I replied.

"Mas maganda kapag alam nilang pinaghihirapan ang pera para hindi sila maging magastos." dagdag ko pa. "Okay, ikaw ang nakakaalam niyan eh." natatawang sabi ni Nigel.

"Sige na, marami pa akong gagawin dito. Call you back later." paalam niya at nagpaalam na rin ako bago pinatay ang tawag.

"Hey, Lady A," tawag sa akin ni Black. "You have an appointment to our two business partner this afternoon and your attendance is a must."

"Plus! Mr. Gonzales wants to meet you at his restaurant tonight. We will look at the kids while you are not yet home." Allyson said with a smile.

"Thank you for reminding me." iyon nalang ang nasabi ko at ipinagpatuloy ang aking gawain.

"Sandali may nakalimutan pala ako, Lady A." habol ni Allyson. "Mr. Thornhill want to talk to you tonight also, after you finish talking to Mr. Gonzales."

Napakunot ako ng noo nang marinig ki ang hindi pamilyar na last name. "Mr. Thornhill? Who is he?"

Agad namang sumingit si Black habang nakatingin sa ipod nito, "Jabreel Kade Thornhill also known as Thor is a 21 year old man. Owner of the Devil 'Phire Corporation and the current leader of a said gang. He is well-trained by his sister with different kinds of fighting skills. Oh it ended there, that's all."

Malalaki ang mata na napatingin ako sa kanila, "He is the leader of Devil 'Phire?!"

"Yeah, why?" Black asked curiously until realization hits them both.

"This is our chance to join them!!" Allyson squealed in happiness.

"Tell him that I'll meet him tonight after my appointment with Mr. Gonzales." I smiled.

"Noted, Lady A." she smiled and excused herself.

"Make sure to convince him well if it won't end well, use your charms! I bet he can't resist it." Black said that made me laugh hard. I have no interest on entertaining boys for the meantime.

"Hindi naman nakakatawa yung sinabi ko. Makakatulong pa nga para sa pagsali natin sa gang nila eh!" singhal naman nito sa akin. "Sorry." I chuckled. "Can't help it."

Sumapit na yung oras na sunod-sunod na ang schedule ko para sa mga meeting na kailangan kong puntahan kahit na bore na bore na ako ay tiniis ko parin. Para naman sa ikakabuti ng kompanya at para na rin sa mga bata.

Nagpaalam na ako kila Black at Allyson pagkatapos ng meeting sa conference room at tinungo ko ang kinaroroonan ni Mr. Gonzales.

Pagkapasok ko palang sa loob ng resto ay agad na siyang kumaway na nakita ko naman.

"Ms. Duke," inabot niya sa akin ang kanyang kamay na agad ko namang tinugon, "I'm glad you came."

I just smiled and he even offered me a seat, "so thoughtful of you."

"No problem." he uttered.

"Should we start our business here?" I asked. "Absolutely." he mumbled staring at his watch. Busy man, I see.
