Angel's POV

"First day," he said wryly, "and you skipped class."

"So do you." I snorted.

We are here inside a fancy restaurant sitting while waiting for the food that this man in front of me ordered.

"Why did you skip classes?" he paused, "don't say to mind my own business again, Angel, because you're my business here."

I looked at him with a blank expression, "do I have a choice?"

"Answer me."

"Okay! Fine."

"Angel."

I sighed out of frustration, "I'm irritated with everyone! Happy?"

He chuckled all of the sudden. I look at him with a frown. How dare he throw a chuckle on me! That's absurd!
"Why would you be?" he stopped and fix the way he sit when he saw me frown.

I shrugged my shoulders as an answer. I definitely don't know why. It just hits me that I don't like to be surrounded by people at the moment.

"After we eat, let's go back in the university." he said like he is giving me a command. "I have my own mind to make decisions, Adler." I said.

"You ought to disappoint your parents?" Adler uttered in a low voice. "They understand me." I replied. I took my phone and dialed Heather's phone number.

I ignore Adler whose scolding me at the moment. Like what I said, I don't take orders from anyone seriously. Who cares? It's my life, so I'm responsible for it.

"How may I help you, Lady A?" she asked right away. "Track my location and fetch me here. I want to work my ass off, Hee. I'm frustrated."

"Will be there in a few, Lady A." I hung the call up and gather my things to leave this restaurant. To my surprise, which is really not surprising, Adler grabbed my hand when I was about to leave.

"Where are you going?"

"None of your business."

I removed his hand off of me and waited in front of this restaurant. It took me about 10 minutes waiting when a black mustang stopped and opened the door for me.

"Hop in." she mumbled. I smirked as I get in the car. Thankfully, Adler didn't chase me to make a scene. I hate that kind of situation.

"Where to?" she asked while maneuvering the car. "WMA." I replied. To my peripheral vision, she nod her head as an answer.

The trip was silent. Heather will always act professional as she used to be. She's not prone to talking. That's why I took her from dad and never gave an info about her even a single bit, I left none.

"Heather, over" I heard her talking via earpiece. "Be there in a few. I'm with Lady A at the moment." paused, "Yeah."

After she ended the call, our atmosphere becomes quiet again. She just talk when I am already at my destination.

"And you arrived safely, Lady A. Just give me a call if you need me. I'll be heading now on my mission." she uttered which I nod as my response and got off in the car with tons of professionalism.

I heard the car she drove went away from me then I faced my company with a smirk visible on my face.

"Where I really belong than a bullsh*t school."

I entered the company and all of my employees began acting alert and it feels like they are panicking when I get in.

"G-good afternoon, Lady A." the security guard greeted me with a bow. He was nervous seeing me and it feels like I'm getting hyped. "Hm." I hummed as I walk pass them.
