Winter - Chapter 22

WINTER
-CHAPTER 22-

AS USUAL, ihahatid namin yung triplets sa kanilang paaralan pero ang kaibahan ngayon. Ihahatid ko sila papasok sa classroom nila. Hawak-hawak ng magkabilang kamay ko sina Zaf at Jio habang si Achy naman ay nasa harapan namin.

Nakikita ko sa aking paligid ang mga batang masayang nakipaglalaro sa kapwa nila. Yung iba naman nagpapalambing sa mga magulang nila. Tapos 'yung natitira nakatingin sa amin pero hindi ko na pinansin.

Baka kung ano na naman ang mangyari na ayaw ko rito. If I'll be pissed again, I'm sure I'll skip class.

"Thank you, ate." Zaf said using her happy tone. I looked at her, "For?"

"For dropping us here inside our school to our exact classroom."

I gave her a smile, "No problem."

When the four of us reached their classroom, I stopped in front of their classroom's door and watched them go inside. Zaf and Jio were smiling as they go inside while Achy, his expression is blank.

"Bye!" Zaf and Jio said in unison as Achy just shrugged his shoulders off.

I waved them goodbye with the brightest smile I could ever give them. I really need to be patient on Achy's cold treatment to me.

They are smiling widely talking to their classmates casually. I felt a pang of pain when realization hits me. They were too innocent and also young to be away from Mama and Papa.

I feel sorry for dragging them into my complicated life. I'll really make it up to them once this will be all finished.

I was about to walk away and get back in the car when a familiar high pitched with a slang voice called my name.

"Ate Angel!"

I look at where that voice comes from and there I saw two kids who feels familiar to me. But a flash of memory came to me, I saved them before. Alex and Lia?

"Hi." I awkwardly wave at them with a smile.

"Bakit po kayo nandito?" Lia asked with her infamous slang. She's really funny using it. The way she drop her words seems fake but I don't want to hurt her feelings so I won't budge.

"I just dropped my kids." I casually said, I remember Black told me about that to keep them safe. Their gaze went to me then to them and back to me again.

"Who?" It was Alex who asked this time, his brow raised. "My triplets: Zachary, Zafirah, and Zachariah." I pointed at the three kids talking to their classmates.

They looked at me, shocked. "You had kids?!" I bit my lip and nod my head. "Unbelievable." Lia protests.

"Believe me. Ask their Dad yourselves when you meet him. I better go." I wave my hands and starts to walk away. Leaving those poor little fellas dumbfounded.

"What took you so long?" Allyson's voice was a bit annoyed. "Talking to random kids." I replied and closed the car door. Black then starts to drive the car heading in our school.

"Wait for me at the cafeteria and no skipping classes." Black mutters.

"Yes."
