I sat for what felt like hours on end painting and drawing out the posters.
"We deserve a break" I smiled at Tim sighing.
"Yes we do" he chuckled.
"I'll put the kettle on" I smiled standing up from the floor.
"Let me" he said standing up and making his way towards the kitchen before I could move. I sat down on the sofa and began to drift off to sleep when Timothy arrived with the tea.
"All the hard work has worn you out" he commented taking a seat next to me.
"Yes it has" I replied taking a cup off the tray and taking a sip.
We sat accasionally talking and sipping our tea when eventually we sat in silence enjoying each others company and the silence.

Timothy fell asleep and began to softly snore. And eventually sister Huxley fell asleep on his chest. As her head lay on his chest, his heart began to beat to a tune that soothed her soul. All of her worries of the past vanished and all she felt was bliss. As if she could stay in that picture perfect moment forever and not move forward or in any other direction that wasn't this moment.
Sister julienne entered Nonnatus house with a sigh after another late night delivery.
She walked into the sitting room and smiled. The young nun was wrapped up in the arms of the young doctor. She quietly laughed to herself and grabbed the blanket off the armchair to place over them.
'She had always put to much pressure on herself and he was never not working, they both deserve a rest' sister julienne thought to herself as she smiled at the sleeping pair. Picture perfect.
