Desire soon came into view entering into the homeless shelter, it was another day for her to volunteer and while she was glad to help out with people- her mind was mainly on other things, she left Vincent with Janine- so she knew he was doing alright, but she was wondering how to proceed with Nicholas and his story, should she have continue to look into his past, should she try to figure out if it was Richard who drugged him would it truly help Nicholas or would it be something more damaging?
Kit gave her a simple request to pass out some plates to the homeless people around filled with different kinds of food, while Desire began to follow what she was asked- Kit couldn't help but notice something off in her, while Desire herself took notice into the fact Nicholas wasn't around the area making her confused and curious as to where Nicholas was.
Everything seemed to be quiet that day, with Kit mainly tending to some of the duties in the shelter with Desire helping to keep the place clean and giving out some of the food to the homeless- after day time turned to night and many of them settled in for the night, Desire appeared to be finishing up some of the cleanings she had to do, by wiping down one of the tables, while Kit came into view starting to approach her, as she added.
"...Is...something wrong with you?" And with this Desire turned towards behind her (hearing the voice come from there) while Kit appeared concerned, as Desire shook her head and sighed a bit as she added.
"I should ask you the same thing ..where's Nicholas?"
"He spent most of the day in my office... said he was kind of tired today..so he was just lazing around for the most part, but I mean he did help me file some files I have with me, why?" Kit asked as Desire shook her head with a bit of a sigh as she lowered it.
"...He's depressed isn't he?"
"I think a part of him has always been kind of depressed Desire...it's just ...part of being homeless, not having a family, thinking your whole life something went wrong not knowing what it was..all of that.." Kit said waving her hand around a bit, as Desire shook her head and added.
"No it's because of what I'm doing isn't it?...looking into his past, bringing up old feelings about losing his wife and child ... making him believe his best friend was the one who drugged him ..I mean he has a lot of troubles as it is, do I really need to keep bringing up these things to him?"
"........To be fair you're only trying to help him resolve one of the BIGGEST things in his life that have been haunting him for ..like years really." Kit stated.
"......I know, I know but it just ...it feels like every time I look more into this guy, the story isn't going to end well for him ... " Desire muttered shaking her head, as Kit appeared concerned tilting hers; before she soon added.
