The Homeless Santa Chapter Twenty-Five: This Way?

Three kids soon came into view, two boys and one girl- the first of the boys had white skin and brown somewhat long looking hair, the second one yellow hair and the third one the girl of the group had black hair that was long and pulled into a ponytail, the three of them appeared to be in a backyard, while one of the boys the longest haired one was visible with an eyepatch over his left eye, wearing a white and red checkered looking shirt along with black shorts, while the second boy was visible wearing a pirate's hat, with a black t-shirt, dark blue jeans and a backpack on his back, as the girl was visible with an eyepatch as well, along with a stuffed bird toy, while she was wearing a blue tank shirt, with green looking shorts, the three appeared to be quite young about six- to seven years of age.

"ARRRG, we call this meeting of the pirates out into this unforeseen land in search of buried treasure arrg!" The boy with the pirate hat spoke out looking at the two other children, as the girl and boy began to cheer and shake their heads, while the one in the pirate hat soon spoke out.

"NOW as your captain Richard argg, I, of course, have a map with me as to WHERE this treasure is buried deep within this long-forgotten island!" And with this, he quickly pulled off his backpack reaching into it and taking out a hand-drawn looking map, as he added.

"Gather round, gather round - and we shall search for this buried treasure!" And with this, he put the map on the grassy ground in front of the two of them as they both began to gather on his left and right sides, while Richard shook his head soon adding.

"We shall need to pass a grave sea, hike through dangerous woods- and perhaps have to face dangerous animals in order to find the treasure we seek, what say you, Nicole and Nicholas?"

"We're in!" Nicholas stated.

"You forgot to say arrrr." Nicole whispered as Nicholas shook his head.

"We be in ARRGGH." Nicholas repeated, as Richard shook his head and closed up the map adding.

"Then let us go!" And with this, the three kids began to dash off.

Soon enough the visualization changed to that of a present-day Nicholas who was seen laying down on his bed staring up towards a ceiling, he had many things on his mind at the moment, one of the biggest things was how he and Richard's conversation had gone, in his head he tried to be nicer, he tried not to let it get to him, but he just couldn't; he knew he had known Richard for the longest time, he knew Richard had been his best friend since before he could even remember, but at the same time he felt very betrayed how could Richard have done any of that? how could Richard have drugged him, and basically ended up ruining his life, in a million years he would never have thought something like that would happen to him.
