"I'm sorry you lost your sight." A young teen's voice was heard, as the visualization soon showed that of a much younger looking version of Nicholas entering into a bedroom, with white skin and somewhat long curly looking hair, he was seen wearing a brown jacket that was unzipped revealing a white t-shirt underneath it, and dark blue jeans with no shoes indicating he was in his home, the bedroom he was entering into appeared quite normal with a single bed visible off to the corner of the room, a window revealing the outside, some photographs seen hanging on the walls some of which appeared to be doodles and drawings, while there was a doorway leading into what was presumed to be a closet, the walls were painted with pink colors- and the ceiling fan had blue blades to make it stand out more it seemed, while there was a vanity set seen just a few feet away from the bed directly in front of it, but this didn't concern Nicholas who caught a glimpse of a much younger looking version of Nicole seen sitting down on her bed keeping her head low.
Both appeared to be their mid-teens or so, Nicholas about sixteen or seventeen; Nicole around the same, but this didn't concern either of them, as Nicole shook her head, soon adding.
"So you say the typical response eh?"
"...Huh?" Nicholas questioned with confusion, tilting his head, approaching Nicole a bit closer- revealing Nicole had short hair that wasn't curly, while she was seen wearing a blue jacket that was unzipped with a hood on it, she was also seen wearing a pink t-shirt underneath it, and dark blue jeans with holes near the knee's, as she was seen wearing brown boots.
"It's not like anyone is going to say "good I'm glad you went blind" no, it's always the typical response, the "wordplay" as some people may call it .." I'm sorry you lost your sight" "I'm sorry your upset" all that.."
"....It's ...I mean, I don't know what else to say." Nicholas spoke out as he sat down on the bed beside her, with Nicole shaking her head- as she added.
"No, it's ...it's okay- I'm just, you know ....it's a lot to take in, not being able to see anymore... you get use to sight, you take it for granted... all the beautiful colors, all the things your able to see and create with your sight .... then one day it's like nope, okay see you- got nothing anymore, all you see is darkness..."
"....." Nicholas was silent lowering his head a bit, as he added.
"....Yeah, I would imagine that would very much suck ... I can't even imagine not being able to see things...you really see nothing but blackness?" Nicholas asked looking over at her.
"...Yep, not a thing.." Nicole spoke out looking over at him, as Nicholas shook his head.
"...Well, don't worry, no matter what's going on ..I'm going to be your protector!"
