"Was Mark doing anything that seemed odd to you?" Nicholas asked as Cindy gave him a bit of a look; before shaking her head and adding.
"Yeah, the fact he was there was kind of violating the restraining order I had out against him....he was known to be very violent in his behavior." And with this, she rubbed her arm a bit; looking down and adding.
"Part of the reason we broke up honestly was because of that.."
"So, his violence began to get ...troublesome?" Desire asked as Cindy shook her head adding.
"Yes, he began to get bad enough that he started hitting me, breaking bones...calling me worthless, mentally and physically he was abusing me and I gained the courage to leave them after that.." And with this, Nicholas shook his head; before adding.
"But I'm guessing even after you left, he started following you all over the place?"
"Otherwise why would I have gotten a restraining order?" Cindy questioned with a shrug, while Nicole soon added.
"....Did he say anything to you? do you think he even saw you?"
"Trust me, girl, everyone was seeing me that night ...yes he saw me, but he didn't say anything to me ..he just stared at me, gave me this ...almost bone-chilling glare...I wanted to leave the party right then and there, but I still needed to make the money ...I still needed to stay, so I did ...I made my money, and I left...I could almost swear he was following me as I walked out to my car in the middle of the night though, and it just...scared me ...I went as fast as I could, drove away and just never looked back."
"But okay, so you didn't get drugged or anything?" Nicholas asked as Cindy rose a brow.
"Drugged?"
"Most everyone at the party somehow got drugged, some of them even overdosed on some things, and not everyone was even a known drug user...we're just trying to figure out who was the one who drugged everyone at the party." Kit stated as Cindy appeared concerned shaking her head and adding.
"Oh, those awful party goers.."
"Wait, you weren't aware of this? I mean when we first mentioned the party to you, you seemed kind of shocked." Nicole stated as Cindy shook her head adding.
"Yes, because of Nicholas...I remember the story about him getting into an accident that killed his wife and son, and then he went on the run but he had claimed to the authorities that he didn't intend to drink that night, that he didn't even drink that night and he wasn't sure how he wound up getting wasted...and Nicholas was like a brother to my brother, you can't even imagine what that did to him- all of the chaos, and then suddenly losing his best friend? he was depressed for weeks afterward."
