The snow was fully melted by late April, and the Walkers were taking advantage of the warmer weather.
A small group of Walkers who were scientists before the solar storm were experimenting with the maggots everywhere, the rotted corpses, and other stuff they found as a result of the solar storm months before.
By early June, that small group of Walkers had developed a machine that allowed you to communicate with anyone who passed away in 2025.
This made all of the Walkers really excited, if you could imagine.
Alan, Daph and Viivi tried it out first.
