Alan's POV

Okay fine. Daph has more cameras than I do.

Out of nowhere, a first aid Walker came over to us. "Hey, I need to talk to you two."

"Yeah..." I closed my laptop and nodded.

The first aid Walker tapped his clipboard with the back of a pen. "We think we might've figured out what's wrong with Daph's lungs. We can't say for sure, but we're thinking that it could be some sort of asthma," he read off of the clipboard.

I was shocked, and Daph was speechless.

"What triggered it? Do you know?" I asked.

"We don't know yet, but we're looking into it. We'll inform you as soon as we find out," the Walker said while looking at his clipboard.

"Okay, thanks," I sighed.

"Merry Christmas, Alan," the first aid Walker turned and walked away.

"So, my little sister most likely has asthma. That's just great, I thought I said I'd protect her. So much for Christmas miracles."

"It's not your fault..." Daph sighed.

"Oh, I said that out loud?" I asked just to clarify. My sister nodded.

Daph continued. "As I was saying, it's not your fault, it's mine, I'm just a dumb, weak 18 year old girl with no friends, no family, no one that believes in me, and no luck with life. Adding asthma to the pile doesn't make too much of a difference."

I put my hand on her shoulder. "Almost all of that isn't true. You have friends, Ava, Fiona, Anaielle, and all of us Walkers. You have family sitting right next to you, and, of course, your annoying cousin, your other siblings, and all of the other Walkers. You're not weak. You're one of the strongest people I know. You've faced unimaginable challenges, one after the other, and after all of it, you're still standing. You're not dumb, and yes, you have more cameras than I do. You're pretty lucky to have survived so many crazy things, and you need to know, people care about you, support you and believe in you. For one, I do. I'm not afraid to admit it. I love you. If the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do."

"Ah, I miss Tim," Daph sighed.

"Me too, he was always a big inspiration to me," I agreed and took my hand off of her shoulder. "I hope you get my point, though."

"I do, and thanks," Daph laid her head on my shoulder. "By the way, I'm not totally sure what asthma is, and I'm too lazy to look it up."

I pulled out my phone. "If you want a complex definition, asthma is a respiratory condition marked by blah blah blah. Read it for yourself," I said and handed her my phone. She read it and gave me my phone back.

"Oh, that explains a lot," Daph nodded slightly. "Is there a cure or a treatment or something?"

"I think so, but I don't remember," I admitted.

"I hope so," Daph said. She looked as if she was gonna cry.

I pulled my little sister into a hug. She buried her face in my chest.

"Merry Christmas," I whispered in her ear.

"Merry Christmas to you too. I love you," she whispered back.

"I love you too," I whispered in response.

**Timeskip: at least a couple hours later**

I woke up to the sound of clicking cameras. I guess I fell asleep with Daph in my arms, because she was still there. She was sleeping, with her arms around me.

And, of course, the Walkers were taking pictures of me and my sister sleeping.

To be honest, I didn't care that the Walkers were taking pictures. As long as I was comfortable (which I was, because I was with Daph), it didn't matter.

"Uhm... Daph... we're being watched... heh..." I whispered in my sister's ear.

She opened her eyes and took in her surroundings. "Why are they watching us?" She asked and checked her phone. "Oh."

"We fell asleep like this. Remember? We were hugging, and your head was on my chest. Eventually we fell asleep that way, I guess," I said.

"I guess it was something to see, because I got a bunch of notifications saying 'Someone tweeted: @IAmAlanWalker + @walker33828 = so cute' and 'Popular on r/alanwalker: Alan Walker: Caught sleeping with someone'," Daph laughed.

"It was really cute from my perspective, though, I have to admit," I laughed. I could tell Daph was blushing hard.

After an awkward silence, I asked, "Hey sis, what time is it?"

"7:53pm," she answered.

"Oh, I have to go prep for the concert!" I exclaimed and jumped up from the bench. I grabbed my laptop (it fell on the floor) and ran over to K and Mello.

I tried to explain. "Sorry I was late, I was–"

"Sleeping with your sister? Yeah, we saw," Mello laughed

K opened his laptop. "Alright guys, let's get to work." Mello nodded and opened his laptop.

"Good idea," I opened my laptop.

That's when I remembered that I was playing Minecraft earlier and forgot to close the app.

"Ayyy, you play Minecraft?" Mello said.

"Uhm... yeah..." I nodded and closed Minecraft.
